I want to "split" my Screen, but how? (<- noob)

Hi everyone,

ich have a question, is there a software, which splits my screen into 2/3 desktops or something like this, so that i can play in 2/3 windows?

so you can see, that my desktop is splitted into 3 parts, and i need a software to make this possible^^

(so maybe i can run in the two screens ontop WoW and in the other screen IRC or something like this)
