Basicly its a Home media senter thingy that plugs into your TV.

Yup, and if you take alienwares better than average products and combine it will Dell's Support and Warranties you have a nice little package there.

I would stay away from anything Alienware related since Dell owns it.

Crappy hardware now. Great support but come on... support? We box, we should support our own stuff.

BTW it does not come with a Dell warranty. Alienware is owned by Dell but Dell has nothing to do with them except to take a chunk of their profits.
