So the site just got a shitload of traffic from somewhere...

Anyone know who just refrenced us?

Maybe u want to install something like Google Analytics - or even parse your own server logs with something like AW stats or Webalizer...

Ellay should be able to find who's "referring" us from the server logs.

Start advertising if the traffic gets too much :P or put a donate button on the front page ^^

Very easy to add into a site, and you could possible modify the forum code to even put the tags inside of individual posts.

i'm pretty sure that if you go to advanced search in google, you can type in a URL and it will show you what sites link to any certain site...

A web crawler has never had that effect before.

I didn't see any obvious major sites backlinking - It might be worth checking the server logs and see if there's any patterns there from the referrers.
