I had a moment of insanity one night recently, and I decided that I should learn how to multibox for real. I narrowed down my options to either RIFT or the free trial of WoW, and a friend of mine was able to persuade me to do WoW.
After much discussion with my Dual-Boxing.com friends/mentors, it was determined that I should be make 3 shaman to start out. Since I'm not sure that I'll ever even make it to level 20 or beyond, they suggested that I pick the "prettiest race." Um, have you seen the Horde races than can be shamans? "Pretty" doesn't describe any of them. I settled for the weird looking pandas.
Normally, I would spend an unnecessary amount of time picking the details for how my characters look, but weird pandas look like weird pandas no matter which style of hair, eyes, etc. I pick. I ended up only spending a few minutes on each one and called it good.
Naming characters is always the difficult part. I have a hard enough time thinking of a name for one, let alone three characters. I decided to go with a themed naming scheme so that I at least had a starting point for picking names. Of course, one of the names I was going to use was already taken, which always sucks. Luckily, I was able to eventually find three available names that fit my theme. Success!
That's as much as I've accomplished so far. Next on the agenda is setting up ISBoxer. I better get to watching MiRai's videos!
