Musings of a Multiboxing Noob

I find it strangely addicting to watch live streaming broadcasts by multiboxers. I've been known to make some popcorn and sneak into a few different Twitch channels to lurk for a bit. It's like being a stalker, only less creepy.

It really doesn't matter what game I watch people play -- all of them are insane to watch. Multiboxers can do some pretty amazing stuff, and they all seem to be so good at what they do. I watch in fascination with a tinge of jealousy because I could never manage to control that many characters that well. No wonder non-multiboxers love to hate on multiboxers... the multiboxers kick ass.

I also secretly enjoy the fly-on-the-wall aspect of listening in on the conversations. Some of them are highly entertaining! Sometimes I have no idea what they are talking about, but at least it lets me learn a little here and there. It also helps answer the question of "who are these weirdos?" that I find myself asking quite often. (Those people that I talk to frequently are most definitely weirdos, so I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that the rest of you are too.)
