Carex

I have to admit, that after seeing all of the multi-boxing videos i was hooked. So yesterday (The day after I saw all these videos) I went out and bought 3 new accounts.
After always loving to play shamans I decided I would make the choice of quad-boxing shamans, with a priest healer eventually when i caught up with it (I know it can be perceived as a bad move having a priest, in comparison to a paladin but my friend is so adamant to play the priest >.<;)
So I was so happy that I got these copies I decided to make the accounts while at work, and just think about it until I got home. I started all 4 up, using Keyclone - they ran smoothly but with slight annoyances when moving around - so I had to drop all graphics to low, apart from Terrain Distance and Spell Level Detail (This one uses alot I know, but it's still nice to look at ;))
I made the choice of using Carex, Carox, Carux and Carix. I logged in and started making all the macros id already planned out the day before, it took some serious time - although I can honestly understand how it pays off in the end. I started fidling around with my primary healer (Carox) - trying desperately to make it mouseover heal my target when i was hovering over with my main (Carex) - after trying this for awhile I decided id use the old fashion way and just assist my main's target. Job done. No more hassle ;)
After this it was down to finding the macros to accept/confirm/receive quests - what a nightmare this was, I was searching through forums after forums to find the exact macro that worked, after about 20 minutes I managed to find one that worked perfectly. So once I finished with all of my macros, I decided it was time to try and mash some faces. I run in range of a boar, my brothers close in arms - I start charging the Lightning Bolt, but.. wtf... why am I the only one casting!? Then it hits me, the first macro I ever made, I had forgotten to put on my buddies! Argh, the annoyance. So I put it on then bam, mob after mob down, this was great!
My one pet hate is the pick-up quest items, what an effort - It's good experience when you kill mobs for the drop but when you have to take an item from the floor, you have to find 4x the amount!! Geeeez.
So far so good, I have to say I really enjoy this experience so far - I had to stop for a bit last night after work, as it's my theory test today and I decided id better spend some time doing something productive, out of WoW!

I thank you all for enlightening me in the way of Quad-Boxing and I will get in touch soon to update you all on my progress. So far they are all a proud level 6!
Thankyou
