i don't really care for the size of the monitor as long as i can see things on it.... (not 2")
i've been looking around, but i can't seem to find any good deals

i'm looking for a 17" or less LCD monitor for $110 max... the cheapest i've found any monitors like this are $130+
i've looked at Ebay but i'm not sure that it will be very reliable

anyone mind helping me?

You can find refurbished LCDs for <100$ if you look around, but no clue how good they may or may not be. I've had good luck with refurbished computer products in the past, but, as with everything buyer beware. Here's a link I found, I do not know if this place is reputable or what the product might be like... just showing that it's possible to find :)

edit -- here's a bunch more off Google.

My main screen is a good monitor, but for my other two I got lucky with Circuitcity selling off the last of their cheap little 17" Hanns¯¯•G screens... These: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254018 got one for 140? and the display 30% off that...

I'm loving them turned 90 degrees.

If you don't mind the heat or power consumption (which it sounds like you do, you know, specifying LCD) you can pick up some nice 17-19" CRTs rediculously cheap (I picked up a really nice Phillips for 25 cents at a local thrift store lol)

For awhile there you could find the one resolution smaller LCDs really cheap... (Pretty sure they're native 1024x768, but I'm not certain) but now you just can't find them at all :P
