The event happened either Thursday or Friday night, but I guess they felt they had to post about it today.. I got my first hate post from some world PvP with a terrible rogue and a decent warrior pair of undead players..

I wait every day for my first post... I try very hard too. I /spit /rofl /tap /bored /pat ... etc... just can't seem to get anyone to talk shit in the forums. ;( However, I had someone create a toon on my server just to talk shit to me... apparently they reported me.

Rolling alliance before Horde was worthwhile because it made raiding their cities much easier.
I rode my semi-truck quadbox shammies through Stormwind and right into the safety of the Tram station. I then waited for unsuspecting Allaince to zone into the tram on the IF side and instantly lit them up with 4XCL to the face. As the bodies kepting piling up and the laughter seemed to never end. Instant death for any poor bloke who needed to travel to SW.
After a good 30 minutes alliance finally got smart and snuck up on me from behind. A good 30 to 40 Alliance gave the shaman a run for their money. I did my best to stay up but it was all over as soon as I went oom.
It was this showing that started the hate "@Elektrik" thread. People amaze me. Posts like: Oh you're having fun but it takes no skill so please don't inspire people to do it, Im l33T your not, just beat in you in 5v5. All of a sudden I suck but Im worth posting about beating????
Ellay, I never thought about it because from day 1 I always thought what you were doing in arena was legit and a great accomplishment, but does the "@Allie" community just get bigger and more MAD by the day? I could handle the you'll never do well, you have no life stuff...but now Im getting the attitude that there's no achievement in what I've accomplished. In the end its just a game I enjoy playing, but wtf fuels these morons? Please tell me its jealousy.

That's the problem! You're camping a competitive area where the enemy expects difficult battles. You need to head to Hillsbrad, Stonetalon, Arathi, or Duskwood and rape a few 70's who are only good enough to prey on lowbies. The kind of people who can't handle some competition.. the ones who feel the need to post about it when they actually get irritated by another player. If I come across them when I'm 70.. they won't post about it because they'll be spending the next week running to their corpse.

Quoted from the forums...
I 5-box for never needing to waste time again with LFG for PuGs. I don't know how much each hour of your life is worth, but if I can save one or two hours of time in-game a month by being able to run my own end-game instances, the $75 has already paid for itself. I'll never waste time with wipes in 5-mans that weren't my fault, or have to run an instance again because I lost a /roll or didn't have enough DKP, or wait for sometime to return from AFK, or bail on a run because someone's mommy is calling them for bedtime. I don't have a lot of time to play this game anymore, so the $75/mo is an affordable way to be able to spend more time each month living.. life, career, travel, interests, and activities.
Can I "borrow" this I want to macro it... :D

With the exploding popularity of the Leeroy Jenkins video, our server population flooded with the sort of retards that would transfer/roll on it just to try to play with Leeroy. (Why someone would want to play with someone who intentionally wipes raids is beyond me.. probably explains a few things about our newer population.) Thus, our median IQ was cut in half 6 months after the release of the video, and most of the good players have transferred off to avoid all the idiots. I'm transferring off sometime soon.. my RL friends on this server have quit the game, and I have a 70 Rogue and a few college buddies on Kalecgos server to hang with.

Heh, have at it. I wasn't trying to piss of every retard I could find - my lifetime kills on my 5-man team shows that I spend an extremely low amount of time PvPing. I'd rather spend the time getting this group to 70. I only decided to drop the bomb on the rogue (without using skills like EM+CL / Fire Nova Totems that would have made it SO much easier) because he was killing some quest givers in Goldshire and the lowbies were complaining. I wasn't expecting to find any @me threads on the Laughing Skull forums - a guildie told me about it.
I love how you replied to the forum post by the way. You have a sharp wit!
Thanks.. it comes from years of dealing with the immaturity in the game. I find enjoyment in making them grab a thesaurus & dictionary, and having to double-read my posts to comprehend them. If that fails, I drop the wall-of-text crit for 32k white damage and they go away.

Haha.. I could tell he was pissed because he kept trying so hard.. drinking potions and burning 5 min cooldowns. If his buddy didn't come charge & fear out of nowhere, it would have been fun camping the fool for awhile, considering he was camping the Goldshire quest givers and a mass of level 6's were complaining, including a few guild alts. :)

Actually it's pretty clear to me that you lost your Burger King job and are jealous. It's also perfectly clear that you have a really tiny pecker and need to tell other people how to play to make yourself feel better about it.

Wow. I thought I had alot in common with most people here, but reading this thread I see that I don't after all.
I don't play for the satisfaction of pissing people off. I don't sit around lowbie areas waiting to insta-kill people. I certainly don't want to be hated by anyone.
Still, whatever floats your (collective) boat I suppose. No wonder we get such a bad name though.

Look at my lifetime PvP kills - I don't go trolling for lowbie kills either. The pathetic point is how this guy felt he had to extremely stretch the truth in a WoW realm forum post about "his" version of what happened to inflate his own ego since it got demolished in trying to take me out. It reminds me of the fantastic bit by George Carlin.. "What is with these parents who feel they have to broadcast the minor scholastic achievements of their kids on the bumper of their car? *dumbass voice* My child is an honor roll student at Bumfuck Elementary." It's the same concept, which is why the decently geared lvl 70 singleboxers came out bashing the OP for this event.

:huh:Hehe, I don't think it's that in paticular. I believe it's more of a feeling that, if people get mad and troll on the forums at you for playing the game, tit's humorous. I don't think most of us go to low level zones with the intent of killing lower levels. When i'm in a low level zone, I'll only instant gib someone my level, and since I'm on a PvE server, that means they were being naughty. if I were on a PvP server I might use more discretion. Regardless I still giggle when someone gets mad about it.
The other day a 70 lock was killing a group of 3 58-61's doing Hellfire PvP, so I went in and camped him for about 30 minutes, he tried everything, from LoS, to getting on the walls of broken hill, to rezzing flying off and waiting for me to move (Great video of myself mounting, riding to the path behind the wall, dropping totem farm behind the wall, and killing him when he kamikazed from the air and fear bombed). About 3 minutes after the last kill, a random level 1 (Who wasn't on the armory) messaged each of my 5 characters, 2 times, "you sir an asshat". To this day his character still isn't on armory, I'd imagine he deleted it ^^. I found that pretty funny.
Of course I've always been under the impression that anyone who rolls a Lock, or a Rogue with the sole intent of PvP is most likely an asshat. Stun lock and Fear lock ftw? He was just mad I stopped him from getting easy kills on low levels.

You don't show up on the armory until level 10.
Also, I don't play a rogue 70 main to stun-lock in PvP.. I prefer the straight burst ambush/hemo damage builds. Class/build doesn't define asshat.. continually griefing players 20+ levels lower than you does. If you're not getting honor for the kill.. what's the point? (Other than to be an asshat to someone who provides *zero* challenge.)

Wow... people are so moronic... lmao The worst I have seen on my server so far (besides Zite getting camped in Gadget by the stupid gnome mage... who btw ran into us in SM on his lock alt... we had great fun XD) is when you are just starting out, most ppl call me a hacker, etc. But today I was happy! Someone recognized I was boxing and asked me if I knew about someone else's 5box team, and then wanted to know if I was her :P I must say, it was nice to have a conversation with someone about boxing without being called a hax0r :P
Btw... I cannot wait to get my girls up high enough so I can get my first @post! As it is we are waiting on Zite's first @post hehe That will be loads of fun :D :D
I got my first post from an arena match that lasted 45 minutes. My partner and I ended up losing, but the guy took a screen shot of the end of the match and posted about how ridiculous it was that I kept insta-gibbing their rush. It was a team with 2 healers that kept resing. I was killing them in bad places so by the end of the match my paladin ran off to stop a res and got caught by their warlock and died.
http://bbs.ngacn.cc/read.php?tid=1756646&fpage=1
[it's all in chinese but you can see the pic of the end of the arena match taken by the QQ'ing hunter]
Since then we've improved a bit and we pushed up to 1705. I'm getting better at stopping res's, but it's still a huge problem.
