the community in here is pretty awesome .

I started multiboxing 6 days ago and tried to level 5 shamans .

My start was very bad as i hitted level 10 and i was at 11 hours /played . i was pretty disapointed and thought i would never reach level 70 .

After reading a lot of posts in here and planning what to do to level , i decided to power level .

10 -15 in deadmines with my mage : went pretty well .

15 - 20 in stockades with my prot pally : was doing good

20 - 35 in SM cath . Found a way to pull it all in one pull and xp was pretty good.

35 : Sunken temple : OMG

im currently sitting at level 56 with only 1 day 5 hours of played time ( with my disastrous 11 hours to level 10 !! included )

and i only started my toons last monday ... 6 days ago.

I played for 4-5 hours a day average.

I cant believe im starting outlands tomorrow ! AWESOME !!!!!! Thanks a bunch !!!!!

And also i thought i would be 58 tomorrow but im dinging 58 on 3 of my shamans just now . the last one should be in around 10 minutes :P here i come outlands !

I have Zolo to a tee now, and can blitz through 35-54 or so really quick, but get bogged down in SM with clears taking me far longer than they seem to take other people.

I think the best I've managed so far - including macro setup, which I always do even just for boosting, is about 2 days to 56.

edit: shame the Amory is a bit FUBAR at the moment though... I couldn't find a Wiiliiam higher than low-20s in either the EU or the US armory. I was curious to see if you were still wearing the SM gear that my poor lot are!

I do a one pull sm cath then a one pull armory with my paladin while my toons stand at the entrance.

1 pull sm cath : start by going left and tagging em by running over them . Get up the stairs and keep tagging them ( left side ). Go to the door , bubble and open it. Go to mograine , hit him one time then run outside. Jump down the waterfall and go left ( right side from the beginning ) and tag the remaining guys . Now get into the first hall way and turn right just to get Out of sight of the caster . Use your Figurine of the collossus , Consecration and Judgment of wisdom . When they start all running , get out of sight of the casters and repeat consecration till they all die . Also when you are running , use rank 1 holy shield and cleanse . ( im basically spamming my cleanse button while i get out of the cathedral with mograine ) because at that point there is a lot of mobs hitting at me and if i get slowed it really hurt :P I do SM cath in 6 minutes average .

1 pull armory : Try to avoid the mobs while you go to the end . At the end start running back to the start while running over mobs and using rank 1 holy shield. Im also cleansing . When i reach the stairs on the way back im using my bubble . I go back in the first hallway and use the same strategy as sm cath . It takes around 5 minutes to clear it .

Then i reset and start Armory - Cath -reset -cath = armory - reset armory - cath .... you know the drill

lol im using on all of em 4 items from SM cath : Shield, 1 hand mace , Triune Amulet , Whitemane Chapeau ...

And the rest is level 1 Scout stuff broken :P lol

I think i really need to work on my gear !! haha .. bah no worries as soon as i finish those totems quest im going to outlands for some quests . items will be good

Im pretty sure i can do better by several hours .

Some things i did wrong :

- Leveling 1 to 10 i did this grinding ... it was long and boring ( took me 11 hours )

- I did stockades with my pally and should have done it with my mage .. my mage is clearing that so fast .

- I learned to do the SM cath , SM armory one pulls at the end of the grinding there . So i should be faster next time.

i wouldnt be surprised to do a 24 hours time . Unrested of course as my toons were.

yes. I actually used my mage for Transportation and for deadmines. I should have used him for stockades too.

My paladin is not well geared at all . Several blues , several epics . Figurine of the collossus ! :P

This is really interesting to me.

I'm not normally a "charge to level 70 as quickly as possible" type person (my fastest 0-60 time was 9 days pre-TBC!!!), but whether solo or multi-boxing, the pre-Outland stuff really is a totally mindless grind for me now, and I'd love to be able to hit Outland in 1.5 days or less!

I'll give the SM "one pull" strategies a go with my under-geared pally. I've been using a frost mage until now, but she's a bit squishy with big pulls. Even the knock-downs in Stockade make me sweat a bit when she gets an unlucky streak!

I'm wandering a bit off-topic here, but I'm curious.... don't you miss out on a huge amount of potential XP with all the damned rubber-banding that goes on in SM, or is the actual number of mobs that reset pretty small in the big scheme of things?

Ah, ignore that - I'll just give it a proper go with my pally tomorrow and see how I get on :)

I dont really know what you mean there but the mobs are not resetting . Im getting almost all the instance in one pull except some of the right side on the higher level . And for your information , as soon as you hit mograine they are all coming at you so you got a huge mob going straight at you and getting other ones wandering outside as they pass by . at level 30-35 i was getting around 20% every 6 minutes there .. it was crazy. I just found that trick around level 30 tho .. i wish i would have done it at level 20 too.

I stayed at sunken temple until i hitted 58 . Levels 56 and 57 were long but still i prefer to do them here and spend around 1h30 per level instead of always moving around for quests and stuff .



Whats weird is since level 58 ive only done totems quests and ive done 50% of my level !! The step in Call of Fire were giving me around 12 000 xp each !! totally awesome hehe

Ye, totemquests acctually gives u % of level xp or something.
Meaning at 20, its like few hundered, at higher level its 5k+ etc.
Currently farming lbrs, found out lbrs is faster then brd acctually. Only downside, with warlock, i need to repair so often..god.

It worked insanely well for power-leveling, especially when you consider the fact that I had mostly (read: 90%) healing gear from Kara. I was able to single-pull Cath every time without dieing; Holy Shock for heals and blow Avenging Wrath when it's up. No Figurine needed (I don't have one because I hate Shat Halls with a passion). Basically, the spec allows for insanely bad gear.

My warlock can solo quite a bit of UB, I use SL/SL spec and dot/fear/kite. I have ok but rather low end PvE gear -- mostly T4/Heroic/crafted stuff with some blues. Pull with pet, cast SoC until you get aggro and then just DoT everything up and heal yourself with your shaman/paladin. Mobs have 12k-16k HP on normal, they aren't that tough.

As far as ramparts goes for a warlock.... My PvP specced lock (SL/SL) in full vengful + 2 parts T5 (for the set bonus) - 1200ish dmg can clear it no problem. Pull 1 group at a time.. DoT them all up and heal yourself with your boosting chars (shamans in my case). I was using the voidwalker to tank 1 of the mobs and held the others on my lock.. the AoE taunt (suffering) also reduces their chance to hit by 10% which can help against the tougher groups.

Was thinking about it yesterday, as it took a while before i figured out the fastest way to do it, when to reset etc. here the downside, i have never made a ingame video before. If you have a guide or something, with all free programs, i guess i coud spare the time to learn and make one.
