Asking for advice about multiboxing with my current pc

Hey,

I'm realy bored for the moment with raiding and pvp'ing with all of my chars.
Looking for a new adventure and came by accident on this forum.
It's all realy fun to watch and I would lilke to give it a try.
I would like to build up a 5 team shammy and checking out what I need for it.
Currently I'm playing on this.
AMD Athlon 64x 2 Dual
Core processor 4600+
3gig DDR
Radeon X1950 Series
7200RPM HD
(got 2 22" screens to)

It's good enough to play for the moment and I can Play 2 wow accounts on the same time, (not multibox just follow :S ) for powerboosting a new toon.

What I would like is
1) What can this pc take? Is 2 accounts the maximum?
2) Should I keep this one for 2 slaves (or more) and build me a new one where I put the main + a few slaves on?
3) Upgrade this one with the "better" hardware so I be able to Play a 5 team on one PC?

i'm not real familiar with radeon cards, but if you put another gig of ram in it i'm thinking you could run 5, but again i'm only familiar with nvidia cards so i'm excluding the card.

Hmm, so you think if I put a good videocard in it I could even run 5 wow's on this pc?

if yeh get one more gig of memory and yer not running vista it'll run 5, with no prob.

if yer running vista yeh gotta kill areo and yeh still gonna lag in any large city.

this all assuming yer aint got all kinds of goofy software running/installed what not.

thx for the advice, but I don't have vista and I wanna do dungeons and pvp when I "grow up" :thumbsup:

So I think I'm gonna do a nice upgrade on my pc.

Wow I had typed out this nice message, but when I submited it didn't go, and then when I went back it was gone. I freakin' hate that.



Long story short:
Ram--
Goto shatt with all 5 of your characters, then check your available physical memory. If you have less than 100mb left, I would get the extra gig (even though it will only give you .3 gb more).

Gfx--
I leveled to 70 with a radeon x800 xl 256mb gfx card. Your gfx card will be fine for that. I am unhappy with my framerate in arena/bg's so I just bought an upgrade which is in the mail. Wait until you get to 70 then see how you like your framerates and upgrade if you don't like them.
