Quick ZF question...

Running my now 49 lock through ZF for exp. and loot - I have the pulls down, I can clear the lizard boss (optional one) with ease, I can clear the graves and the boss there, he's on farm, I'm going to attempt Gaz tomorrow, I just got the lock his mallet...is the pyramid event doable with a 49 lock, 60 druid, and 61 mage? I'd love to do that just for the fun of it, it's the best fight in the game, and then I want to try the boss that unlocks after.

I've heard of 60's soloing it, I'm curious if this is true.

Aoe is the key! You're gonna have a much easier time killing stuff with your mage. Freeze them in place and aoe them down. Are you using your druid for heals? I don't think up front melee dps would go so well for that fight. Ranged and aoe works well for my hunter. Don't forget to flag pvp. ZF was absolutely fantastic xp, it boggled my little mind. Have Mage arcane bomb and lock hellfire. User druid to alrernate hot ( rolling lifebloom maybe )

Don't forget to stay behind the NPC's, so they get most damage.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm going to try it later this week, I was pretty busy this weekend with freelance (two jobs FTW!), and by the time I logged in tonight, I got as far as taking down the witch doctor and basilisk bosses, and ran out of steam. :(

Had some nice drops though, besides the two blues from the bosses I got 2 blues from the zombies, and a blue in a iron lockbox. :) I'm making a nice income from the mageweave in there too, it's going for 20g a stack of bolts on my server. Lots of greens too - I forgot how drop-happy ZF is! (Compared to Mauradon, anyway)

I need to work out some new keybinds so I can run the mage or lock as lead, and put the druid in as a healer - normally she tanks. Then I can control AOE better. I want to anyway, just to shake things up a bit, it's getting a little routine. :)

I've heard of 60's soloing it, I'm curious if this is true.used to solo it on my 60 paladin (although she was in T1/T2 gear) ran it allot too as i needed mageweave for my 3 tailor alts the pyramid run is quite easy as you got aoe and since you got more then 1 character you can pop a heal with your druids (or aoe if it's a moonkin), gazrilla is abit more annoying with the huge knockup so make sure you cleared everything around him (and he'll prolly target your alt if your main is knocked up so be ready for that)
