Well wanted to throw up a pic of my first set of multibox toons. 1st go around is a biatch just setting up the macros and then adjusting so spells with similiar cast times or cooldowns are set to the same bindings - adjusting as talents change things. First time running alliance so im not familiar w/ the quests and zones which is adding some delays. Overal though I like doing this as a challenge more than gliding (yep I did that as well).
Anyway, Clan Ahole - Silverhand Alliance (only there cause my bro plays there - once I work out the kinks going to do a a horde group on an East coast server - my ptimes). Paladin is Dunghole. Yeah i'm an Ahole Ninja.....

yeah.... i laughed at the screenshot ... a lot..
Glad you are doing this instead of gliding... but I'm not sure I see why you would juxtapose multiboxing with something like that. In fact, I'm rather offended. I guess that kind of comes from alot of harassment... I don't have much tolerance for people that actually do break the rules. Best of luck not getting your names reported- there will be plenty of people looking for an excuse to report.

I think I get what you're tying to say, but you might want to be aware that this could cause a bit of a problem around here. We don't like to be mentioned with any infractions since we get enough attention already. No one here approves of that sort of thing (not that I'm accusing you of approving of botters). Just saying... Don't ever relate multiboxing to any bad behavior.
Drama always follows.

This was my first instinct when I saw your names as well. You might want to keep an eye out -- I hear that Blizzard just randomly assigns you a name if you've violated policy, rather than letting you choose a new one.
Also, certain products that purposely break the WoW terms of use are things we don't discuss on these forums. I'm not slapping anyone on the wrist... yet... but be aware that discussion of botting products and those sorts of things are not welcome on these forums. See the rules ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Board&boardID=31') for details.

I reported a chap with the name "sodomyzya" one time, put him on my friends list, and he logged in the next day as "haereebullz"! One more report and he was called Ohoudrain. It seems like a stupid name but I can't figure out any rude interpretation of it, so it may have been randomly generated or he may have learnt his lesson. Either way, he certainly got to pick his new name at least once.

It's possible he ended up with a random name from the GM, then paid for a paid name change to the 2nd offensive name, and now he's stuck with the final version until his 30-day cooldown is up. ;)
All I know is I see alot of people up in arms on the CS forum over the random namechanges. They claim it's a conspiracy since random name reassignments happened at the same time as paid name changes.

Heh - no need for anyone to be offended. Yep i've done the big "G" for the guild - been busted by the "man" numerous times as well. I liked the challenge of setting up the perfect runs and going to bed (12hrs is record), but I got bored w/ the game after awhile and realized I was paying to not play (i knew it but overlooked it) for my purple text. This is much more challenging and I don't have to worry about donating my account and gamecard back to the "man".
Feh- if the names get reported i'll pay the $10 to change them - no worries. I'll even avoid naming them:
"iamn" "otafr" "ikki" "nbot"

It's a sensitive subject here because so many non-multiboxers associate multiboxing with botting (I am betting that most reports against multiboxers are accusations of botting). Having people discuss it just helps to reinforce that perception, so we tend to be very touchy about it.
Looks like you are going with the diverse group approach. Good luck with it, it takes some getting used to, but once you've got your keybinds set up you are golden. I'm running a paladin, priest, mage, warlock, and hunter. I still have a lot to learn, mostly about reacting to those "aw crap" moments, but once the learning curve is flattened out it's pretty cool.
