Anyone else been enjoying the new Extreme Whack-A-Mole game with the report spam feature in regards to the new (and extremely annoying) /2 spam fad? Its hard to keep up on 4 toons when they just keep rolling in, but i think I won last night!

They might as well make /2 general. It'll take the morons weeks to figure out that they moved trade to /1.

The only ones joined to /1 or /2 is my AH alt and my raiding priest. I figure if anyone wants to talk to me, that's what whisper is for.

Edit: Love the guild name. We have a MSSQL script at work called fluffy bunny. Let's just say it fun to run it right before restoring from tapes.

I'd prefer the Chuck Norris jokes over the new "anal [Expose Armor]" and " [Fiery War Axe][Fiery War Axe][Fiery War Axe] " crap. Extreme Whack-A-Mole... that's sooo what it is! Try to report them all before they scroll up the chat frame on all your chars! I'm just curious to see what happens when people get reported for spam. I still see them doing it later.

I read that someone got reported for saying "Zug Zug N i g g a" Horde->Alliance. 72-hour account suspension. Imagine how many people would get banned if you opened a ticket for each of the "anal [linked item]" spams?

Yea, me too. Blizzard won't say, but they have given the ok to use the report spam feature for this particular problem.


I read that someone got reported for saying "Zug Zug N i g g a" Horde->Alliance. 72-hour account suspension. That's not surprising at all given that it is two violations. Racial slurs and cross-faction communication.

I was in SW when the anal spam started up on Cho'gall on day. I logged because I had stuff to do and came back a couple hours later to people STILL doing it.

It's worse than the murloc spam. At least that had a bit of humor for a little bit.

That's Icecrown US - Alliance, anyway.Trade chat on Icecrown makes me want to puke blizz needs to change trade so you can only send formatted messages to it from an interface.

i.e. LF {profession} to craft {item} paying {X gold)

Impossible to get rare items crafted because your message just gets lost in all the spam.
