I previously had my priest on a separate computer. This allowed me to have all my warlock macros set up pretty nicely synched and worked great except for having to fumble over to grab control of the priest for emergency heals. This also meant my priest was doing nothing but auto-following when he was not healing, so it was a loss of dps and not very efficient.
So last night I tried running the priest in with my warlocks all on the same machine. I had to set up macros so I could have him target off of my main, but I'm running into some problems.
I only use focus for cc, so all my clones target my main and do a target=targettarget to cast spells.
What kind of macros do you use on your priest to make things a bit easier? I've got renew and lesser heal bound to a few different keys, but it's not very efficient. I also throw shadow word pain up when my locks throw curse of agony, and i've got him wanding along with my locks as well (which is a big dps boost in and of itself).
Anyone have any tips to make things easier? It almost seems like it was easier to have him heal from the second machine because trying to manage healing and dpsing from one machine is kinda rough.

I have one button with modifiers that does the emergency healing for my priest. I do targettarget based macros as well. Check out my previous post, Warlock and a Priest, Macros ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=88096#post88096') with all the macro's I am using.
For non emergency healing or out of combat healing I just click heal.

I always tried to free up hotbar slots and macros by using Clique and just click-healing with the priest. In PVP, I just spammed CoH and once the "holy crap" part of the fight was over I'd go back to normal heals.
Click healing in PVE is, IMO, a MUCH more efficient and versatile method than macros for that group composition. This obviously doesn't apply to groups with normal tanks. ;)

Healbot makes healing much more easy in pve since it gives you a new window with party targets in it... you can even show pets so all you have to do is click the bar on the Healbot window and that person will recieve Flash heal (left click) Greater Heal (right click) Renew (middle mouse) and you can set it up however you want. Its also great for buffing.. just click on the buff window and set up which buffs you want to be reminded of.

Looks like we're at almost the exact same point - I'm currently running 3 locks and 1 priest (at about level 22.5), trying to catch up to my 4th lock who's in the 60's.

why does it matter which PC the priest is on? where you using two keyboards?
I would think that you would only want to use one keyboard and if you need special keyboard bindings on the priest you could make duplicate wow directories and setup the special key bindings.
I think the keybindings are kept in the WTF directory, I think in vista (ugh) you can link all of the non-WTF directories to a common place so you only have to update one copy of wow.
X:\WOW1 << all warlocks with the same keybindings
X:\WOW2 << your priest with special keybindings

I've got keyclone on both now, but that doesn't really solve the difficulties I'm having timing my healing on the right targets.
If I change target to something I want to heal (a friendly) then things like wanding get canceled for my warlocks until I can retarget the mob they're supposed to be attacking.
Caspian's suggestion of healing targettargettarget (so I can just stay on the mob and heal whoever he's targeting) might be a good solution to this.
Another solution might be to do the click healing on my secondary machine. I've got some options now so a lot to think about! :D
The next big thing I'll have to deal with will be adding a tank (probably protadin) once I get all my warlocks/priest to 70 so I can do heroics.
