My 5 man shaman team is coming along but pretty slowly. Im thinking of boosting them with my Prot Pally which will leave me with 1 pally + 4 shamans.

How do you guys set your bars up for this? With the 5 shaman I use identical bars but Im not sure of the best way to do this with a paladin leading the group. Do you guys just click all the paladin abilities while hotkeying all the shaman? I suck at clicking :D

I usually use my numpad keys to use abilities if I'm singlebox raiding (fury warrior hardly has need for clicking)
You could do the same, try not to have any ctrl or alt combination on those keys for the clones,
You might accidentally activate 'm.
Downside is that you'll have to grab your mouse if you need exact targeting,
tabbing till you have your target could work, but calculate the lag in if you're nuking with the clones.

I've been main assist for raiding for a short while and trust me, it's about the same ;)
Even when I targeted a banished mob they'ld start nuking on it :s

i just keybind keys you wouldnt normally use on your shamans.... i.e Consecrate is bound to C - Taunt if bound to F - Judgement bound to G - just keep your Seals on 1 you only need like 3 keys to play a paladin... anything over that is just showing off :)

my Pal/Sham keyboard layout is freakishly similar to Fursphere (except i don't run a resto sham)

Paly I use ERTFGVB for my main abilities then some shift state variations. I really like this setup because it doesn't interfere in any way with typical WASD movement or mouse look. For everything but the E key its all pointer finger around in a half moon shape. It does on the other hand require you to remap some things like reply etc but to me it's very worth it. the C key could also be added into the useable keys but for some reason I don't like the feel of it so I took it out.

Looking at it how it sits on the keyboard gives a better idea of how ergonomic this setup is. Red is the hotkeys and Green is the movement keys.
QWERT
ASDFG
ZXCVB

For the shamans I use the good ole standard 1 through = and shift states.

This ('http://vboxing.net/v/index.php?q=node/62') video switches between my pally and my shammies perspectives -- you can see that I start out clicking to gain a threat lead, and then do everything except seal rebuffs (because they're so situational) using the keyboard.

The top bar is my CTRL+1,2,3,4,etc
The next bar is SHIFT+1,2,3,4,etc
The 2nd lowest bar is just plain 1,2,3,4,etc
The bottom bar is ALT+1,2,3,4,etc

I have yet to really start multimoxing as a team (I'm still at the boosting stage) and would love to have a pally + 4 sham team but the biggest issue I'm having is finding a way to map my buttons.

Currently I play using the WASD to move and then EQRF and Shift states of WASDERF for various other moves and I've been using the same keys on all of my 70s while single boxing (warrior, mage, hunter, priest, shaman and pally) but I can't for the life of me figure out a good way of multiboxing with the same set up (tried numpad for slaves but it was a pain not having my hand on the mouse).

Heres what the buttons do on my pally (S = Shift):
S+W = Seal of Light
S+S = Seal of Wisdom
S+A = Flash Heal
S+D = Big Heal
Q = Simple taunt macro (taunt targets-target)
E = Hammer of Justice (Stun)
S+E = Judge Seal
F = Seal of Righteousness
S+F = Remove bad stuff (poison etc)
R = Gift of Naruu
S+R = Concecrate

Seems like a mess I know but its how I started playing WoW I've become very dependant on it for easyness/quick response.

I was thinking maybe using an ALT or CTRL state for the slaves while keeping the setup intact on my main but I'm probably opening myself up for a bigger nightmare.

WTB: new music!

Seriously Vyn, what were you thinking? :pinch:

Consistently in music has never been my strong point.

That being said, usually people can find at least one of my videos with musical tastes that they prefer. I try to shake it up a bit in each one.
