and it was awesome!

I've been permaflagged since the mid-50s (EU Argent Dawn is a RP server) and no-one has initiated combat in those 5/6 levels.
A few ?? chars rode up, took a look at us and rode off again.

Last night, decided to do the Hellfire PVP daily, as there's a nice ring and gem you can get for 7 days worth of the daily quest.
Ended up killing 2 Warriors and 1 Warlock, all 70s.
The Warlock was hilarious... I was waiting for one of the bases to change over, had the full totem farm down, and only noticed him when an incoming Shadow Bolt ploughed into a Grounding Totem.
He had landed behind me and high up and was targetting my "main".
We all turned; EM; CL; and he's down to < 10% and starts running... but didn't get far :)

The second Warrior was tougher... I was impatient and left the safety of the totem farm but didn't get a new set of Tremors down before he did his shout and 4 Shammies ran away... still, finished him off :)
That taught me to stay in the "farm" and let them come to me... a worthwhile lesson to learn this early!

And, checking my logs, I've just noticed that the Warlock's name is an anagram of one of the Warrior's names, and in the same Guild.
He was obviously pissed at his Warrior dying so fetched his Warlock, in a fair chunk of PVP purples, according to armory, to have his revenge... but that sort of backfired, didn't it

I think that makes it an even sweeter victory... wish I'd frapsed the encounter :)

I was harassing a priest and walock group in Ashenvale last night. I killed them but the lock wouldn't release. So, I regened up with my totems, hit Ghost Wolf, and ran off. I double-backed around a tree and killed the priest again while he was resing the lock.

Twice I did this (in two different areas).

I was pretty mean last night. :P

10 Kill Enemy
20 Ride Away
30 Put Far Sight on Enemy Spot
40 Wait for Enemy to Rez
50 Goto 10

If I'm being mean, that's generally what I do.

Tsk tsk, GOTO statements are bad. ^^

Yes, if 20y IT experience taught me anything, it is that it's always much better to use ComeFrom statements, thus the example above becomes...

10 ComeFrom 50
20 Kill Enemy
30 Ride Away
40 Put Far Sight on Enemy Spot
50 Wait for Enemy to Rez
Much easier to maintain

I knew BASIC was still good or something in today's world! lol

I played RP servers for the first 6 months I played WoW and after going PVP I will NEVER go back. PVP servers have way more opportunity to do things like this. I love the thrill of being in dangerous territory for the most part. Just this morning I was in Ratchet (safe zone for horde) and had a skull ally waiting on the boat. I got off the boat and waited for it to come back. When it came back I got on the boat and was thinking that skull is going to be waiting on me in Booty Bay and destroy me. Luckily he wasn't waiting on me and I was able to get the axes I need for this quest I am doing. But, what I am saying is just the fact this is PVP made this quest less boring. If it wasn't dangerous then it would be 'tedious'.
