My girlfriend and I have what may be a unique approach. Two 5 boxers, 3 machines each, 3 monitors each.
What's odd is we converted what used to be a bunkbed with a desk under it, to store the computers above us. Saves us from the heat and noise a bit. Although setup was a bit of a workout. "Aww crap, I forgot that DVI cable....." *looks down*
I'm the one on the right with the girls, lol.
Both running Octopus across 3 computers. Her shaman are already in their mid 30s but I spend too much time working on my UI(s) and macros. And will probably start making addons soon :P

As for that UI I spend too much time on... here's how it's progressing T_T -- My slaves' screens are still a jumble.

Cute hardware setup
And I do consider you UI slick, makes me want to rip apart my own and do it, considering I haven't put any time into making my own UI :P
I like what your doing there, keep us posted ;)
Sweet setup and nice interface indeed : )

That bunk bed setup, i must say something like that would be perfect for me. Hot is hell sitting next to my computers (see sig). Currently looking for a house, I have no room to expand or do anything with mine. My computers after all are in the living room. :( Love you idea, awesome work!

That's Cartographer's Waypoint arrow showing me where QuestHelper tells me to go.

The fan you can see between the towers is the best thing ever. A few different companies make them but we've had great luck with Vornado ( http://www.vornado.com ) they don't even call them fans, they call them "Air Circulators" -- They shoot air in a column "up to 70 feet" -- We have two of them, one pushes air up from below through a hole in the bunk, the one you can see in the picture pushes air out of the door, and a fan sitting on my floor in the doorway blows cool air in... basically if I leave my door open, and turn the fans up, a ring of fans pushes cool air in and hot air out to the point my room ends up the coolest in the house.... This does not please the people we live with though... so they're usually turned down XD

The two rotated monitors are the cheapest monitors I could find, little 17" HannsG monitors mounted to 35 dollar replacement stands that let them rotate 90 degrees. Nvidia's default software lets me rotate the display to match. My Samsung has a blue LED almost too bright for me, lol. but not the other two, I'm not really a fan of things lightning up... things light up enough in my room WITHOUT me trying. XD

awesome setup :D
It gave me an idea how I'm going to place my computers better. I've never thought about storing them above my screens. I wont be using a bunkbed, but I might make a big shelf that I incapsulate and make an airstream, venting all air out through the wall :)
Again, awsome setup, and thanks for giving me some ideas :D
Sweet setup.
What addons are you using for that great UI. Looks extremely clean. Mine looks like a teenager's sock drawer!

Sweet setup.
What addons are you using for that great UI. Looks extremely clean. Mine looks like a teenager's sock drawer! The primary visible elements are
Aperture to resize the WorldFrame
Pitbull using one of the Hal textures.
Infinibar (the buttons) with the Litestep Lite Button Facade skin
Carbonite's map
simpleMinimap to modify/move the Minimap
Damage Meters, using that Hal texture again.
Multiboxer v2
Grid, ZOMGBuffs, and a few others are less primary.
I'm sad nobody has commented on the contrast between my clean UI and the messy desk/room XD

Great setup idd,
Brings back memories from my dorm room I used to live in with a girlfriend \o/
And from any 3-day lanparty I've been on :)
About that UI:
I know how it feels ;)
I've been working 2 nights on my UI and when I thought I had everything as I wanted,
but the partyframes turn out to be chaotic in combat, I notice to late when one looses health.
I'm trying something similar as the vertical bars in "try2",
I'm working with pitbull and have threat and xp mixed in the bars, I guess I just have to keep it simple :p
You're doing it the right way tho,
make sure you're satisfied with the UI at lower levels,
so you only have to adapt small things and don't have to get used to completely new frame placements.

I did actually notice the slick looking, clean UI and the desk that looked like a hurricane came through :)
I'm trying to convince my wife to 5 box with me... she plays a single toon... She's really not for spending the additional money to get a box like the one i'm going to build in a month or so... I'm still working on her though... Persistence is key!

OMFG where'd you get the gamestop sticker thingy in http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m180/DarthBarhah/Multiboxing/Coords.jpg ?

The "sticker" is the huge plastic sign that used to be in EVERY GameStop above the counter. I worked at Gamestop when they threw out the sign and nabbed it (along with a lot of other stuff I nabbed over the years) Including the Metroid Prime 2 Echoes standee you can see behind my desk "Now Available!"
