In the last two weeks of PvP, the most asked and to me probably the weirdest...
"Dude, how did you get them all to have the same gear??"
What are some that you guys get?

It's the most common question I get aswell.
And it's so obvious it's all questrewards at this stage.
Another one is:
"Where can I start that quest?"
Usually it's asked to someone who stands near me. /doh
"Are you a GM?"
"Do you pay for all 5 accounts?"
Honestly, some people :p

"Dude, how did you get them all to have the same gear??"
This question is mind-blowing, considering everyone at 70 has pretty much the same gear on -- full PvP kits are common as dirt, and mages/warlocks in frozen shadow weave with that staff off curator are a dime a dozen. Nevertheless I get this question a lot.
Other common questions are "?" (yep, just a question mark) or "WTF?" These are getting less common as the same folks see me again & again.
Another biggie is "wat program do u use?" Generally this is in /s, not whispered to anyone in particular -- I can only guess what precisely they mean by this. Are they asking me if I'm hacking somehow? Or what my key multiplexing software is (big assumption I'm even using any)? Or something else completely? But I have a strict rule not to respond to /s or whispers to clones; if you aren't smart enough to figure out which toon to whisper, I don't want to talk to you.
Yesterday a rogue whispered every one of my toons, in reverse alphabetical order, to ask them what spec they were. That's all, just "what spec r u." He was in coilfang reservoir, so I assume he was looking for a healer for his epic PuG by systematically going through a /who listing.

Easily the most frequent question I get is "Do you pay for all those". No assmunch, I'm beta-testing for Bliz for free.

Haha, yeah the "how do they have the same gear" question is hilarious. I vary my response but generally they say, "oh yeah...". :)

i am sure you've all gotten this
"LOL?"
that is just weird to me...either it's funny, or it isn't. it's a thing you need to decide for yourself.

I think my funniest one is "Are you guys brothers?". Gotten it a couple times now.indeed. Mine are 4 girls.
Are you twins? how do you all cast at the same time?
Questions i get are or 100% obvious. Or people really have no clue what multiboxing is.
Telling them i am a GM is my favorite.

My favorite one so far:
Them: "why are they following you?"
Me: "I'm multi-boxing."
Them: "no ur not"
... Ok?!?

Most of mine are pretty negative that I get, so I’ll only list the nice ones.
“Why is there 5 of you?”
“How do you do that?”
Rest are not nice :P

"How did you get them all to have the same name."
Couple times I've got that question. While it was the intention I was going for, I think the accents are quite obvious.

I think my funniest one is "Are you guys brothers?". Gotten it a couple times now.I had a funny variant: "Are you all gay for each other?"
My response: "Yes, and we choose to consummate our love by creating identical characters in a video game and then synchronize our actions down to sub-second resolution. Fortunately for you, we're looking for one more. Interested?" - So obvious, but it shut him right up, just like I knew it would. :P
"Which one is the leader"
i get "are you brothers" quite a bit
Question: DO you sell the accounts.
Answer: some flavor of no, that i do it for fun in PVP, & if you did the math, it wouldn't be profitable & then point out the mini diablo pets I usually have out from the collectors edition, on several of the accounts to show that i've had the accounts a while.
I will never get how people don't believe that we could actually play the game for fun.

I contemplated having all CE chars, but as I only have 1 CE account, that's $80 in transfers. :S
Well...I contemplated it when my guys were almost 20. Had I though of it before I made them I probably would have done it lol.

Impersonating a GM is against the ToS.If they ask me if i'm from blizz, then i'm really not affraid that they would report me for pretending to be a GM. But thanks for reminding me anyway :)

Yea, i've gotten a variant of "are you guys brother".
"Are you guys friends?"
"Lol 4 ppl have teh same names lol"
"Are you guys family?" and so on... and they put follow on me and following me everywhere for like 10 mins while i try to do my quests...
Well, celebrities are being followed by their fans all the time. I guess this is how they feel, maybe except for the stupid questions.

"How are you all dressed the same??"
"REPORTED FOR BOTING REPORTED FOR BOTING REPORTED FOR BOTING OMG REPORTEDX3"
"You should have made rogues or shamans lulz!" (I do mages, which do just fine ty!)
"Are you rich? How can you have more than one account?" <<Must be young....1 night at the bar = 2 months of multiboxing
"How can you tell which one you are??" <<????
"Can you run me through (insert instance here, up to and including BT)???" <<<< I'm only lvl 39 lol?

I usually get "Where can i get that add-on" :P
When someone did the "OMG! HAX!" I once replied:
" OMG! :o Do you see them too? They've been following me for weeks :( "
(the idea comes from someone on this board)
Lots of bystanders lol'ed (it was in Orgrimmar) but 1 or 2 took it seriously for a moment and continued asking questions about those 'copies' :D

If you count "lol?" or "wtf?" as real questions those are the top two.
Next is basically "why?" I usually ignore those, if they can't think through the possiblities prior to asking then trying to reason with them won't work well anyway.
On a side note:
Man I loved the Hinterlands. In two sittings I've burned through all the quests (minus the Send Another Message..."collect 20 feathers pseudo PvP quest"), killed Hexx etc, collected all 10 of the tainted pots for all 5 toons.
Now two levels later I'm off to somewhere else. That was fun and fast!

"Did you have to pay for all your mounts?"
I told him no, they gave them to me. :P

pretty much like everyone else i either get "how do you do that?" where can I get that cheat? "or the usual "why play 5 accounts"
did have a weird one though "omg where can i get friends like that who follow me around" felt kinda sad for him :D he was 59 and unguilded in terrible gear lol

This is generally what I get.
I still get the "How do they all have the same gear?" question. Which I find doubly confusing since I no longer actually have all the same gear. Between my three characters I have three different helms, weapons, and chest, two different shoulders, shields, and leggings. And those are the most visible items. I don't think any single piece of gear is exactly the same on all three of them anymore.
After that mind boggingly weird one I tend to get a bunch of How?s. To which I have a macro reply set up. Or sometimes I'll get "Are you playing all three?"

'Are you lesbians irl too?' - Actually happens a lot when I queue for things in SW.
'Are you twins?' - Someone will usually point out there is 'four of me'
'Do you pay for all the accounts?'
'How do they have the same gear?'
Those are the common ones I get. The first one I mentioned is the most bizarre, the others I see are sort of standard hehe. ;)

I haven't got any questions in a while. Just the occasional WFT or "Where's theFeet?" or "hi body parts"
More often, I've been getting "multi-boxing ftw." or someone that will just sit and stare for a little bit.
Just recently, I've come across 3 other multi-boxers on the server. A 5 shammy team, a 2lock/2priests team & a 1priest/4lock team.
Most people on Sargeras seem to recognize it and just watch for the fun of it.
the Maelstrom EU
Most asked question?
"How do you control all 3 at once?
me: with all 5 toons all named nearly the same stood in front of said person "??"

Since I joined The Zerg I get a lot of "Zerg, FTW" and "multiboxing ftw". I have also found a lot of people ask me if I am Zin. Not sure if others get that. I even get that on my non-Xin?? toons. I say with main "Nope, I am not him" then another toon "Me neither". .... Yesterday I got a "Zerg is gay" from a dweeb. I just said "Shut up burger flipper" X 5 and /ignore. Also I get a LOT of 'wtf'. I usually just repeat it X 5 /say WTF. I am thinking of simply repeating back to the person exactly what they say to me from all toons. I hate it when someone repeats me so I imagine that would be a VERY good way to piss the assholes off. :)

"Did you level all of them?"
I got this question the other day doing my dailies and I answered, "No, just the first one. You can do that long Clone quest chain and get more. Costs 200g each time you do it though :("
The response: "Dude, that's cool! But that's way too much money!"
<Boggle> Like 200g is way too much to pay to get another epicced-out 70.
We make that every time we do 4 dailies ;)

A: You'll see if you get a beta key.

-What spell is that?
-I dunno that macro (this is how far ppl go in ignorance)
-the same gear omfg! (it's very difficult to achieve that when u play them all at the same time)
-u f******* f*****, go get a life u f******, so u can f******* lemme play u f*******
-is it worth 100euros a month?
regarding this last one, i pay 65 euros, i think american players play 75 dollars...and... im not trying to justify myself or lowering the idea of being a fair ammount of money but... wtf, a playstation game, here in Portugal goes up to 70 euros? a ticket to the cinema is like 5+€, going out at night...well... i can spent more on a saturday night than in 7 accounts of wow...lol
ppl just have no idea what their talking about.

Hi all, first post here, I hope you don't mind I jump in this thread.
Someone mentioned how people would sit and stare, and I have to admit, the first time I saw a multiboxer on Gul'dan ( I was in AV and it was a 5 shammy) I was amazed, then after about 10 seconds, I grabbed my Axe and waded in to the frey, as if the Shammy needed help ;)
Anyway, IT got me interested in Multiboxing, so I grabbed a trial account, set up Hotkeynet, and off I went. Worked perfectly, so, I'll grab another copy of the game, a few more game cards, and will be joining you all shortly.
As to this thread, I made some locs, named Stevea and Steveb. First question I was asked "Is your name Steve?"

I really seem to only get 2 responses on Detheroc. WTH? and WTF? I get a lot of people that silently follow me. That bothers me more than anything really.

Yeah... People just following you around is truly annoying. I remember one time, i ran from one part of Zangarmarsh to the other, and halfway there i realzied there was a guy on his mount following me, apparenty AFK since I asked him why he was following me. It makes you feel really uncomfortable an vulnerable :P But after a while he just woke up and mounted away :S
