Hello, I'm new to multiboxing and have a question about synergy.

Ok, my setup:
A) Desktop (vista)

B) Desktop (win-xp)

C) Laptop (win-xp)

D) Macbook (OS-X)

I have successfully set up synergy between ABC, but was wondering how I would connect the macbook to the existing connection ABC. I am not great with macs, and I have NO idea how the hell I would FIRST of all set up synergy, and SECOND of all, set up keyclone WITH CloneKeys. Any mac/keyclone/clonekey geniuses willing to explain to the less experienced? :pinch: .

Thanks in Advance!

~Electric :)A. Synergy on Mac is fairly easy, it's a matter of using the terminal, it (the Mac client) works fine with the Windows versions.

~BUT~

B. CloneKey only works on one machine, it's for running multiple copies of WoW (or other apps) on one machine. It does not work with KeyClone. There is no Mac version of Keyclone, or any software I'm aware of that works with it.

So, your best bet is to install Windows on the Macbook, and just use Keyclone across all machines. Use Bootcamp, or one of the apps that runs Windows on the desktop. You could install the version of Synergy that broadcasts keystrokes, but I don't know if that works with a mix of Windows and Mac computers.
