For some reason ive reverted back to my 70 preist. I am not enjoying my lvl 30 shamans, for some reason.

I think im gonna let the accoutns run out of time and give them away or something, havent decided ;(.

Def still staying on the forums more then ever though, i love it here.

Back on topic, what's the problem with your shammies?

Once you reach 40 you start reaching better content. I promise if you hang in there once you start running SM doing complete clears, and doing all those hinterland quests things improve a lot. Plus now you can begin killing 70s.

One of my favorite times was around SM, I'd find lots of alliance to kill at the meeting stone. It was great rolling them all then entered an instance I could solo, mean while they are still coming back in ghost form pissed :D

I'm not so sure I agree. It's hard at 30, but 40 is so much fun. My Druids just got to 40 last night, it's a blast. Keep going, it gets better quickly. My druids were level 34 saturday morning - the leveling nerfs made everything so quick.
Keep it up, you'll be glad you did. Getting a 31-point talent seems to be what makes or breaks most people's experience anyway. I don't think you're in a position to judge very well until you reach that milestone.
Come on, you know you want to...

shamies grow in power exponentialy as they grow in levels.

i had so much trouble getting hrough level 27-29 (i only MB 3 shamies) but suddenly i got 30, Windfury and Elemental Fury and somehow it started to click together.
Now i just dinged 32 and here comes Chain Lightning! awesome. Can't wait to get to 40 for Elem Mastery and Chain heal. Then i'll just roll over my face on the keyboard for xp :-)

if you're 30, go do a couple SM graveyard, or RFK to get a level (i got half a level doing RFK -everything except the trench, cant be bothered, and about the same in SM GY) just 3-maning it.

I'd say keep to it and try for level 40 before you make your decision. If at 40 you still dont enjoy it, then yeah maybe it's not for you.
In any case, that's the line i'm following. I always haev my toons (even solo) up to 40 at least and then stop or continue.

Actually i'll add this, if you're not happy with multiboxing your shamies, instead of just ditching them all and going to the priest, try and solo level a shaman. Learn the class, see it's potential.
get it up there before Wotlk hits the store :-)

You'll come back and want to level your other MB'ed shamies soon enough hehe

give them away or something,

That would be ill-advised as that would constitute 'account sharing.'

I'll 2nd what everyone has stated and take a break from them, let them expire for a while. Play a shammy toon solo for a while get to know the class. Then maybe in a month or two, come back 're-invigorated hopefully' and finish the team :D

Boosting has a certain bit of BURNOUT involved with it. If your tired of boosting... try questing for a while???? +1 PRO TIP

Yeah, i find that boosting takes very little skill at all, and therefore becomes very boring very quick.

Plus, if you've been boosting your shamies all the way, you cant blame it on the shaman class, it would have been the same with any class.
I suggest you start multiboxing your toons instead of boosting them on /follow :p I'm sure it'll prove much more challenging, exciting and rewarding.

Good luck

You are just two levels away from Chain Lightning. That in itself makes a huge difference in the fun factor.

Good luckSeriously. PLing by repetitively running instances behind a 70 is like taking a job on an assembly line. You're not getting bored of playing, you're getting bored of repetitive, mindless work. It may be fast, but it is about as exciting as a long session of data entry. It wouldn't take more than a few hours of that to make me question whether the eventual reward was worth it.

I also think that you'll be much happier when you get to 70 if you actually start exploring how the multiboxing dynamic works as you level. Using a 70 to level a team doesn't really prepare you to use your team effectively when /follow-ing your 70 mage around is no longer an option.

I stopped playing for a bit a few months ago. It was nice taking a break from my guys. Then one day I got the bug again and picked them up. So don't give them away for 2 reasons.

1) If you need them just reactivate
2) They are in your name and your main account could be banned
