My group is 67 and have cleared this instance, but I have some issues with some of the trash that I can't seem to understand. Specifically the mobs that seem to drop agro on my pally and run straight into my shaman. Etheral Scavangers for example, I have BoS on my shaman and ret aura and righteous fury up, pull with avenger's shield and pop holy shield and consecrate and then SoR. Omen says I'm doing tons of threat yet, they always run straight into my shaman. Anyone have any tips? Are they using an ability? I don't see any abilities listed on wow head that would indicate they drop agro.

the scavs charge the furthest target away regardless of aggro.

I pew pew them down after the priests and sorcerers.

Some of the mobs gouge, luckily they are only a few of these but they make tanking a pain. Best to burst them down and just shammy tank those.

If it's a charge effect, then you can just make sure everyone is within the dead zone and they won't use it - almost every Charge effect has a minimum range (8 yards or so).
You'll want to stand outside of melee range though because you'll get Shield Bashed / Pummeled or otherwise interrupted.

This works for around 95% of mobs that have some sort of Charge ability, BTW.

Some other mobs in Mana Tombs have a gouge which will drop aggro. One trick is to use Blessing of Sacrifice on your #2 threat. The mob will go whack them and immediately break you out of Gouge. (if you're running 4x Shaman DPS and Salvation, then whoever you put it on immediately becomes #2 threat amirite?)

The scavangers don't have a charge or gouge, they just run over to my shaman no matter how much agro i have built up. Its very frustrating especially when there are 2 or more in a pull. Sometimes righteous defense doesn't even work and they contune hammering on my shaman. On wowhead their abilities are: shield Bash, Singe, and Strike. Nothing suggests agro losing ability.

I don't have neccessarily the same problem you do, since I run 5x shammies, so no tank. I noticed they were a problem early on when I started running MT. My kill order is generally: #1 priests, #2 scavengers... the others don't matter too much except the darkweavers which can summon friends if he is left alone too long. Since you have a tank the priest aoe shouldn't be a problem, so just pop your trinkets and kill them before they get to you, or if there are 2, the first one should be dead and the second one hurt before he touches you.

I'm not sure how they work with your tank, but if you find that they gouge/charge you quickly, perhaps consider pulling with your DPS and then prying them off you with your pally.
