3-boxing shamies - quests or instances?

Hi,
i currently have 3 shams at level 30, and so far have only done quests and killings. Should i look into instances?
i'd rather do everything by myself (at least the leveling part) and was wondering hwo much i should outlevel an instance to be able to do it with only 3 toons.
And if i outlevel it too much, will it even be worth doing it?

As i see it, mobs in SM Lib start at level 33-34 so that's probably out of the question to 3-man, should i try BFD? RFK? maybe?
will i still get more xp in there than killing regular mobs of 3+ levels than me?

Hi Zub,



Personally with a 3 shaman setup I would do quests and level that way.
if there is a healer and tank that you have made friends with around
your level, you could group with them to get instance quests done at
the right time( good xp and rewards and trying to avoid bad pugs).


Soloing instances when you have leveled on abit more then required
you'd think you will get less xp and the drop might not be as good of
an upgrade as they once were. Also with making sure you get the right
pull and don't have runners aggro more groups then you can handle.

I have
turned away from over doing instances, I quest hardcore until I run out
of simple quests ( kill X,Y,Z and such) then I would do a few instance
runs to gain 1-2 levels.

I think i'll give SM GY a shot tonight, to see how it goes in there, but i think you're right.
I'll probably stick to killing quests after that.

Also, i actually have a number of 70 toons i leveled on those accounts, and was thinking perhaps boosting the toons, 2 at a time
70 + Toon B and C, then Toon A and B and 70.
Toon B will have bit more xp gain than A and C, but would it be beneficial for the team overall?
I guess i'll have to try ;)

Well, went to RFK with my 3 zubs, managed to clear it and got half a level worth of xp ~150+ xp per mob and more for bosses, so i guess it's not too bad.
I think i'll try SM GY and if that's not too hard i'll do a few runs, then alternate with quests.
