Bored with Shammy and Pally team

I am a bit bored with my current 4box shammy and 1 pally team. I certainly do not have great gear or even flying mounts yet, but I am working 55 hours and I am bored with the team a bit.

I was thinking of a new 5 box team to play when I feel like I want to Play Wow but I do not want to deal with my old team. What would be better for

1. Arena and BG
2. Some normal instance farming and just fun daily quests

Should I go with
(A) 4 locks and a priest or
(B) 4 hunters and a priest (or other healer??)

What are the pros and cons of each group?

I stopped being bored with my shamy+paly team when i killed my first few heroic bosses. As far as fun factor, any of the ranged DPSs can be a lot of fun. And it looks like they all are getting great new talents/skills in WotLK. But 4 SKs and a healer? OMGs ( or do you even need a healer? looks like they keep themselves topped off nicely!

Anything change will be a good move it sounds like if your looking for something fresh. The combo's you describe will definitely work, as well even shadow priests + a tank.

Which team would be better for PVP and which team would be better for PvE?

I currently run Priest + 4 Hunters (70/70/69/69/68), and I haven't done much beyond world pvp for marks, so I can't speak from too much experience yet. However, they're a ton of FUN for both PvE and PvP , though I doubt it is as powerful in PvP as Priest/Locks.

Some highlights include 4x Aimed Shot, 4x cast-interrupting pets and 4x large, red animals tearing stuff up.

One of these days, after my crew hits 70, I'll attempt a few Arena matches and report back.

What is the logic behind this? Just curious.

Arena only works with a healer thats independent. Dropping your 5th will let you bring another person into your life =] I love playing with people it certainly mixes stuff up!

Ya and it does let you focus a little more since its only 1 class your playing, reactiosn will be faster etc .
