Some more progress for the Grins, BFD (getting the name right this time :P) at 23-24 was quite easy, but a bit more challenging than SFK was - Bigger pulls and higher level mobs.

As usual, check blog for details.

Debating Razor K now - think it's worth it already at 25?

I enjoyed RFK much more than BFD, but by 25 you are already through the best levels you'd get there (I left at 26 & Lots of the mobs were green to me).

I like your progress blog!

I ran BFD until 26 then quested until 30 at which point I leveled in SM until 39/40. After that I ran some Tanaris quests and farmed Whitemaine Chapeaux's until 42/43. Since then I've been running Zul Farrak and plan on quiting ZF at 47 for a few Maraudon Runs. At 50 ish I'll quest for a level or two before hitting the Temple/BRD. We'll see after that.

Leveling by questing is generally faster, but because I'm playing a team with multiple classes, I need lots of practice in instances. I don't mind it taking me a few extra days played before hitting 70 if the pay off is a deep understanding of the team's potential etc.

Keep going! Zul Farrak has some great ele shaman gear.

Well, shadowfang was partly gray at 25 - So doing kraul as I type - quite challenging - then it's either farm BFD or quest until I can do SM I suppose ;)

I'm glad you like the blog :)

You could probally just start SM GY at 26(I have not leveled since the patch which made dungeon level's more close together so mabye not anymore

Well I just cleared Razor K, and it was doable but a bit challenging - still 25, and all the loot that dropped was 29-30 :P

Perri,

I'm doing Kraul right now at 26 and still getting fairly good exp, and the clear is quicker. I started Kraul at 22 and struggled with the bosses and big pulls. At 22-24 anything more than 3 mobs, and I was wiping. I've learned to conserve mana by beating on things, and earthbind totem has kept them from running and grabbing other mobs. Remember to keep lightning shield up, and rockbiter on your weapons. You might want to use Frost on your weapons, as this will slow down the runners. Mana spring and magma totems have helped a bunch too, but magma seems to be mana expensive at this point. I like to keep a mana spring totem out each fight... big or small, as this seems to help me move faster throught the instance. I use shocks to finish off a mob that might go running, but I try to use my shocks sparingly as they cost quite a bit of mana.

You'll probably find someone who has cleared this instance earlier and, is more skilled, as I am a boxing newb. But, the learning curve for me was huge in this instance. As long as I'm still getting decent experience I'm going to stay. Buy tons of water. I'm going to SM after. Sounds like we are in the same boat. Hope some of this helps. You can PM me with any info you find helpful.

Dooz,

You could always swap a shammy for a mage...all the free water you can drink, plus portals! Plus Arcane Blast! Plus INT buff! :D

I think I left BFD around 27? It's always been one of my favorites so I normally milk that place for EXP as much as possible.
