Hi,
I run two monitors. one 19in. widescreen at 1440x900, and another 15in. (4:3)

I read in http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=1767 that you have dramatically improved frame rates when using horizontal span vs. dualview. Now whenever I try and change from dual view to horizontal span my widescreen monitor becomes stretched horizontally. Does anyone know a solution to get ride of this effect?

my widescreen's max resolution is 1440 x 900

Thanks

Horizontal span requires you to have both monitors at the same resolution.

Yes, but it can be done. I was running horizontal span with a 1920x1200 24" main and 1680x1050 22" secondary. Basically, nVidia treated it as two 1920x1200 monitors, but there was some "dead" space around the bottom and right of my 2nd monitor. Performance was better than dual-view though, with virtually the same viewing area/resolution.

:-D

I didn't know that, any idea what you need to alter do it? I'm thinking you just force a resolution?
