Starship Troopers 3(!!!!!)

So, it finally happened, the CONCLUSION to the awesome Starship Troopers series of films.

Direct to DVD but that just adds to the comedy value :-)

So what did you guys think of it? /me loved it :-)

But the movies ST1 was bad ass.

Ummmm... Starship troopers 3.

To save people some time. #2 was about 2 hours of my life i'd like to have back... :thumbdown: Absolutly nothing like the first one. so i'm not overly excited about #3 TBH.

Having read -all- the books as a kid, I was totally disappointed with the first one, never heard of a second one, and doubt the third one will be close to the books.

If you have the chance, pick up the book Starship Troopers, read a bit of it, and try to figure out how it's even remotely similar to the movie. The books themselves, other then being amazingly cool (especially when your 10), also touch on a decent amount of social philosophy, which while not completely ripped out, were pretty much white washed for the movie.

I was actually really impressed with the third one, considering it had fuck all budget and was straight to DVD.

Thought the first one was great for a larf - second /meh, some giggles but really pretty tame story - will watch the third if it comes out
