Been stalking you guys on the forums for a while, just wanted to say hi, and thanks for the wealth of information!
Currently running three priests, wishing /shoot didn't stop when you hit it again, but other than that, it's been a smooth transition, and I"m currently resisting the urge to 5 box... I already have the hardware and your great stories are NOT helping me resist.

/cast !shoot
That's the macro you're looking for. ;) Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the welcome... I swear, I'm using /cast [somecriteria] !shoot and it stops shooting if i hit it again (say if one of three was healing)
I'll definitely try it again tonight, good chance I'm just a moron ;)

Well, it's known not to work if you use [target=focustarget] for both wand and hunter's autoshot. Hafta actually /assist focus to gain a target, then it should all work fine.

That answers a few things... thanks for helping with that, wasn't really meaning to ask for help in a non-support forum :D

It does work if you do something like this:
/target [target=focustarget]
/stopmacro [noharm][dead]
/cast !Shoot(This snippet works)
It's essentially the same logic as:
/cast [target=focustarget, harm, nodead] !Shoot(This snippet, as I understand, does not work.)

Your second example, I agree will not work. !Shoot() requires that your char have a target, whereas single-cycle spells do not.
Hope this helps!
P.S. Vyndree, it's too bad you don't work in the Vista Bluetooth stack group. We could have some highly entertaining conversations about bugs. ;) /wave
