Go enhancement 'til 53 IMO. Then you'll have a few good pieces of +INT chain and the talents to make elemental work in spite of crappy itemization. Then quest into outlands and you'll be rocking by 60. I did shield/mace until I got DW. Worked pretty good and I hit 60 in about 6 days /played, so wasn't slow.

think ive made mistake alredy, i noticed on your 'omg have i missed this' post about melee that the main cant be a tauren unless a druid in a form? :S if that case then ive messed up big time :P lol!
is 4x tauren shaman still ok at melee or would it just be same as any other race at melee? thanks for any help ugh

Huh? I don't understand what you mean by melee only working if Tauren or something. My 5x orc shamans did melee/enhancement up through 53 and had zero issues (except for princess and Shade of Eranikus).

So to sum up, if you don't care what race your warrior or shaman followers are in a melee group you might want to consider choosing tauren as the followers for this very reason! On another note you might NOT want to have a tauren as your main in a melee group, unless feral druid, if the rest are anything but tauren as that will only increase the /follow distance problem with melee groups!
and sorry, no wonder you didnt understand because u didnt post it >.< thought it was u hehe im sorry.
but tauren melee range is 9 yds and everyone else is 5, so if your main is a 5 yd hitter the taurens will be able to reach the target from the follow position.... im confusing i know lol. i confuse myself >.< hehe

AH, got it. :P Once you get used to doing melee followers, it really isn't a big deal getting them into range in PVE. PVP is another story, obviously.
