The person contridicted themselves several times and in the end made no real conclusion other than that they are pissed off that you aren't playing the way THEY want you to play. That's about what it sums up too.

A comment I hear at least every 10 minutes when i'm in a major city.
My reaction is not to react,
why waste the lifespan of my keyboard on it.
Usually someone else start defending me lately tho

I say we do have a life due to the fact we dont need to Grind as much.....As for now days it only takes us 1 Day and abit to get to lvl 60. Aswell when we hit 70 we can farm instances ourself = less time for finding a group. Another thing about Dual-boxing is you get all the goods to yourself :D and what if a Epic Drops got no one to roll with :D The more of you= Faster wow becomes ;)

hehe, Having a life is pretty subjective. To some people having a life means you go out to clubs, and bars every night, get smashed, and wake up at 12 hungover. To other people it's going to work, then hanging out with their friends till late night. Accusing someone of having no life is just as backwards as any other argument people make about us. He probally spends more time playing WoW then you do, because most of the casual players, think it's cool as hell to watch multiboxers.
Beyond that, he's the one that decided to whine like a little girl in tells. =D

First of all, clearly a child (maturity wise at least) based on the ALL CAPS response that he had. I get about 50/50 hate tells, and the others are "I'm jealous" whisphers. I still get lots of hate in BGs, but people have actually started to welcome me or make alts on my server to find out what I'm quing for. It's been quite nice.
Those kind of people will always exist, I would have just kept about my business and hardly given him the time of day. I don't bother with most people anymore :)

I think multiboxers are just trying to revive the fun, in an otherwise unfun game.. At least that's why I have started.

WoW, I never got harassed by anyone for dual boxing. Most people I talk to just ask how I did it, and wither it was hard or not. Some people just gotta start arguing with you for no reason other then trying to piss you off.

I look at it this way.
They are spending just as much time ingame as I am. Yet, I am doing more and doing it better. And damnit, I look GOOD doing it. So....no life? They fail at single boxing. :)

More often than not though, I walk away with them coming to dual-boxing.com to find out how THEY can do it too. hehe.

I got my first one over the weekend, and calmly explained what I was doing. He finally yelled at me saying it's an unfair advantage in PvP, and I told him I hate PvP and have no plans of doing arenas and he shut up ;).

Nope you're all wrong, no life. You saved my pal in Southshore/Alterac about a week ago. I had to look twice because I saw 4/5 rogues chase the attacker. Not relevant at all but I had to say it. *at least I think it was you*

I get that one constantly. Most people can't use simple logic, I don't bother to try to explain it to them because they either won't understand or they simply don't want to be convinced. Let's look at the facts:
1. It takes less time to multibox a group to 70 than to level a single character, if you do it right. Even if you're slow, you can get all 5 to 70 long before mr. single boxer could get his second toon to level 30.
2. Gearing up for PVP takes the exact same amount of time as a single character because they all gain honor/arena points at the same time
3. Grinding gold is much, much faster. You can do all dailies in a group, and in about 1/3 less time than a single player, you end up with 4-5 times more gold.
4. Instances and Heroics are much faster as well - you never have to look for a group, there is only one point of failure (you), and you can develop a system and run it every time instead of having to deal with random idiots who can't work together.
Seems to me like multiboxers have even more time for real life. How much you decide to play is entirely up to you, but given the above, a boxer can gear up 5 characters faster than you can gear up 1.

When they say that, I say that I don't have enough time to single box and spend hours LFG for people, plus I actually have a job so I can afford the trivial $1 to $1.50 per day, so I multibox. Usually leaves them silent after that, or they do the desperate "loser" or "gold farmer" and put you on /ignore knowing full well how wrong they were and how I won the argument :P

How could someone ever afford that? Especially when you're a loser living in your mom's basement? You probably sell gold.

One guy told me "Someone needs to moveout of thier parents basement and get a life"
I told him that i moved into the upstairs along time ago and that life is over rated.
He didn't really know how to respond to the comment and he in a wierd way respected it. He apologized for being a douche and now i talk to him all the time.
