I have come up with an idea for a setup that I think will work, but I'd like to hear your opinion on it and get some help with macros.

First off, I have all my hardware/software set up already using Keyclone. I just use a white list on Keyclone to pass the specific buttons I need, most of which are bound to my Nostromo. I use a 46" HDTV and one PC to play all five accounts on one screen and I use a Nostromo N52 to control my characters. I also use the Trinity Bars and Multibox addons.

My main focus is PvE and my team is as follows:
Paladin (Tank) Main
Mage (DPS)
Warlock (DPS)
Shaman (DPS)
Priest (Healer)

Due to the fact that I'm playing 3 different types of roles, I don't think it's very plausible to have one button doing everything. Too many CDs, tanking requires a special set of buttons, and healing requires special targeting. Meanwhile I also have to spam the DPS button, place and refresh totems, and be able to have decent control over all of my characters' movement due to AoE effects.

I have a /follow party1 macro that follows my pally. I also leave a button free on the nostromo that will spread out my characters in an upside down T formation. The only problem is that sometimes a character will keep running even after I release the button. I'm not sure why that happens.

I decided that targeting would be separate from my DPS spells. I have a macro on all of my slaves:
/target party1
/assist
That sets the target of all my chars to my Pally's target. This allows me to have spell on my alts that are not in macros and also allows my tank to switch targets as needed while everyone continues to DPS the target I set for them.

For CC I want to use Focus. I plan to have 5 keys bound to keys not on my Nostromo that will set the focus of a character to my Main's focus. I would like to have it use a focus target if I have one

My Nostromo is set up so that I use 2 of the 14 buttons as modifier keys (Alt and Ctrl) and the orange button as button 15. This gives me a total of 39 easily accessible buttons. I also have Trinity Bars set with a 15 button grid (with the two modifier key buttons left empty) and so that it changes to a different set of buttons while holding Ctrl or Alt.

I plan to set up my 3 sets of grids as follows:
No Mod
Row 1: Pally tank skills
Row 2: CoH P1, AoE, DPS, Alternate DPS, Totems
Row 3: [Ctrl], [Alt], Formation/Stop Follow, Target, Follow

Ctrl Mod
Row 1: Heal P1, Heal P2, Heal P3, Heal P4, Heal P5
Row 2: Renew P1, PoH, ?, ?, ?
Row 3: [Ctrl], [Alt], Debuff, Buff, Self Buff

Alt Mod
Row 1: F. Nova, Fear, Earth Shock, Poison Cleanse, Evocation
Row 2: Poly, Banish, Tremor Totem, Disease Cleanse, Shadow Fiend
Row 3: [Ctrl], [Alt], Life Tap, AoE Fear, ?

Other Buttons on Keyboard: Land Mount, Flying Mount, Jump

I'm not sure how to go about setting up some of the macros I mentioned so they work as correctly and efficiently as possible. I would really appreciate anyone who can help me set some of them up. Also I could use tips from anyone who has 5-boxed with all different classes.

Edit: So I've been searching the forums and I've found a couple of macros that are better than what I was planning on using.
For following:
/target [target=party1, nodead, exists]; [target=party2, nodead, exists]; [target=party3, nodead, exists]; [target=party4, nodead, exists]; [target=party1, exists]
/follow

For CC:
/stopcasting
/cast [target=focustarget, harm, nodead] Polymorph; [target=party1target] Polymorph

Also what is a good macro for /pet attack?

Unless yeh have played all or most of these classes before, I would suggest not having so many different classes.

just pull out the imp put it on passive. have a macro that casts the imps fire shield on yer tank.

Unless yer gonna spec the warlock demo the pet isn't really useful and involves to much micro managing the thing, to keep it alive.

castsequence is yer friend have one setup for single target dps and another for aoeing

having the ability to have both shaman and priest heal the tank is really nice.

yeh can have one key for mount by using
/use [flyable] <flier 1>; <land mount>
switch <..> to mount name

i've ran the exact same setup and you seem like you've got a solid grasp over the situation.

I use a 21/40 SnF build for my lock so I never had to micromanage pets. My lock just uses a

/castsequence [target=focustarget,nodead,harm,exists,nochanneling] reset=combat/target Curse of Elements,Immolate,Incincerate,Incinerate,Incinerat e,Life Tap

Aoe situations I have a 'big button' Aoe macro that has my lock using hellfire, mage /castrandom insertallaoespells here, pally /cast consecration shaman /castrandom [target=lockname] fire nova totem, lesser healing wave and my priest not doing much.

seriously though, if you stick to the plan you've got going on you'll be doing fine. I know you use assist so just edit macros for your setup. The stuff i typed have syntax errors and probably spelling mistakes, i'm jsut not able to copy and paste the macros i use because i'm at the office.

I've already got what I think are decent cast sequences and my solo main is a lv 70 priest in BT/Hyjal gear (who will be sitting outside my group healing until the others catch up. The only thing I don't know real well is playing a Pally tank, but tanks are always in demand so I figure I can play him alone sometimes to get a good grasp of it. What I could really use is a good spec/cast sequence combo for the 3 DPS, especially with a good set of conditions for the brackets at the start. I like the mount macro, didn't even think of that.

For my Lock pet I planned on just leaving my Imp out for fireballs, fire shield, and a stam buff. Otherwise I'd probably only use a Felhunter for the Auto Dispel. How can I make my pet only attack something when I press the button and my Lock has a target? I don't want him to run after a new target just because I hit the button an extra time after my I finish killing something.

naa learning the classes aint that hard its trying to maximize 5 at once that is.

if yeh dont already have it get Major Spellpower on what ever wep yer pali has makes it really easy

check out http://www.wowwiki.com/Useful_macros/Warlock#Pet_Macros

think this macro would work

/petfollow
/petpassive
/petattack [harm]
