WC First Go!!

A follow up to RFC First Go! ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=9645') - Details can be read in the blog in the signature.

Went to WC with my 5 shamans at 18 - And it turned out to be doable, but challenging. I believe that for pure xp, staying at least 1 more level in RFC would have been quicker, but the loot in WC is quite nice - And the challenge does make it more fun.

I have not cleared WC yet, and due to a work trip I probably wont get it cleared until Friday/Saturday - But I expect to be able to do it at 18.

Anyone got any thoughts on the xp/time thing compared to running a green instance vs running a slower clear of a more challenging one?

RFC Has blues!!

I would stay in the comfort zone and go to WC at maybe level 19 just to be on the safe side. I havent actually done a full clear of WC on my alts. I skipped straight to SFK. Nice blood apron there with 12 stamina and some nice shields and 1h mace too.

god i hate those druids but my shamans/pally loved the turtle. in fact, we loved that turtle over and over again. :)

Yeah I snuck in an hour and a half playing before I had to leave just now, and all but 1 have shoulders+shield now.

I spent soooo many times in WC trying to get the FULL FANG set that I ended up doing only one toon. Forgetaboutit for the others :huh: Blizz dont have a clue as to how to make proper drops percentages. Most players will out level the instance and the need for the set before you could one to drop. Dont get me wrong but i did get BLUES that got disenchanted but SHEESH horrible drop rates for the ones you need. Then comes Scarlet Monestary...wooohooo. Sorry but you will most likely get tired of that place in a hurry. :D

Yeah, I guess that is specially true in the low 20s -- At 19 I'm already trying to figure out how to balance WC, RFK and BFD - And kinda wanted a DM run in there to even if I'm horde just to have done it.

Ok, WC cleared at 20, could have done it at 19 I'm sure, but due to not having time to finish it I ended up doing it at 20.

Sadly I messed up the final escort quest as I hadn't cleared before accepting it, and the Tauren died - So I will have to come back and redo that at some point, but I think I need a fresh instance in between.

The 'grins' are 21 now though, time for totem quest and then SFK before going back and finishing last quest in WC (If I can be bothered :P)
