Hey guys,

New to the forums here and wanted to take a moment to say hello. I've been playing on the Smolderthorn server for about 2 years now, long enough to have (not so) fond memories of running to a MC raid and getting wtfpwned by multiple PoM/Pyroblasts from a certain multiboxing Alliance mage. I assume that was an old incarnation of Ellay. I currently have 3 single-box'd 70's and a 60 shammy Im working on. I've been lurking in the forums and digging through the wiki for trying to get a handle on what the plan was. You guys have a great community here, and its really nice to see helpful answers from the senior members.

Since this is the New Multi-Boxers & Support forum, I'll ask a quick question. Let's set up first. I'm currently using a 2-box, 4 character setup (will probably add a 5th soon) with keyclone. In testing, I've kept my original WASD movement keys, added the ASD keys to my DNP list, and remapped the W key to a variation of the Focus Live macro ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Macro:Focus_Live_toon') with an addition to /follow focus. My thoughts were that instead of using a Big Button ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Multibox_Macros_-_Quick_Start_Guide#Big_Button') for /follow commands and have an extra button to mash regularly, I could map it to something I am going to be using anyway. Now, this works just fine, until my main character dies, at which point the focus switches to the next toon (correctly) but since my W key has been remapped, I cant move my group. Are there any easier methods of group /following the focus target, and how to most people handle movement in general?

Thanks in advance!

G'evening Narezza and welcome to the forums!

i think most people put one set of movement keys on the DNP and keep the other set for combat.
(i put the arrows on the DNP keeping WASD and QE for strafing)

personally, i have a /follow focus macro i use when i'm moving out... and i trigger it with a mouse mapped key

if you have any other questions, feel free to drop me a note.

have a great night and welcome to the addiction,

Rob
