im playing 4 shammys like written in my signature, and i have just googled aelli, aellii and so on, and can see
that he has not put any points in the last one skill ind the elemental talent tree ?!

How important is that totem even ?
and what is the best built for an elemental shaman that is all about the PVP... :huh:

It's great to have that totem but in PVP you occasionally need to be able to instant EM+CL people to kill them outright.

NS + EM + CL = lots of burst damage to kill a target

The totem is for PVE.

Then im gonna respecc when 70, but while i am PvE'ing (lvling still) i can still use it right :)

I find out in the world I hardly use them, Im only lvl 54 on my 5 box team, In instances ofc all the time but in PVP… why do they have to be on the fire totem set? Lol

I was thinking the same thing when i first got the skill as a first time shaman user hehe :) , i use Magma and fire nova mostly in PVP use...

Totem of Wrath is typically for longer fights not needing as much movement.. which means it's better for PvE. Nature's Swiftness is perfect for throwing down 2x chain lightnings in about 3 seconds. I'd rather have double the damage and chance for crits in 3 seconds than one cast at +12/15% hit/damage when it comes to PvP.

However, Totem of Wrath isn't totally useless in world PvP.. it's just not as good as an instant cast chain lightning. I'll mainly use magma totems in standard PvE fights, and break out totem of wrath for instances or extended fights against stronger bosses (like the Overlord quest in Hellfire Peninsula). Fire nova totems seem to work better in world PvP over wrath, since enemies typically will try to run circles around you, and magma is too much low-power steady damage.
