Hello all,

I just wanted to say thank you for the forums, guides, Faq's and community.

I ran into a MB'er on my server once and thought it was neat, I also ran into an enemy one in a BG once and hated him, not for cheating or anything, jsut for him not letting me into the RH. Anyway, I finally broke down and decided to try it, mainly to see if I could do it, but also cause I always wanted a mage/shaman and thought this would be easier to level them together. (Already have a 70 hunter/Priest)

Anyway, I wanted to try Octopus after reading the differences because it was free and I wasn't sure if I would stick with it, btu then read that it was no longer supported/updated, (sorry to hear that, thank the Author for his time). So I went with Keyclone.

My initial troubles were getting my three mages not to take off running whichever way they were facing when I moved the main, brief search of the forums and I found "Do-not"pass"!

Then I went about setting up the Maximizer, had issues with this at first but I accidently figured out to right click on the instance of WoW to set the region I wanted it displayed to. This was also frustrating a little at first because the instances were auto added and I wasn' sure in what order, so i messed with it and got them to their right positions. The next time I logged on, I manually added the instances as I launched them and and added them 1 at a tiem to KC and named the isntance to keep track.

After that, I was able to run around and kill stuff, did some quests to level 4 before bedtime. I even set up a strafe macro thing to make them do a formation attempt and a bow macro.

I Think I was reported twice, and received 1 insulting whisper. I understand this is the life, so I pretty much jsut ignored chat the whole time after that. Although, at one point I ran to gold shire to get some money from my main, and the reaction there was a little better. Some people were like WoW, thats cool a Multiboxer, (Talking like I wasn't there), someone explained it horribly to the other guy how it works, then made the comment that I wasn't that good, that the better guys do it with 5 characters. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all!!! :)

Anyway, Again, I wanted to say thank you to the community and that I found everything I needed without having to ask a question. Cheers!

Hi Dewy,

please feel free to ask questions... that's what the newbie area is for. of course, a bit of reading will result in resolving your questions quicker... but don't feel like you're out there alone.

now.. i wouldn't take that approach in the other sections... it'd be like leaving town before you were ready :D

btw, check out this link, it might answer a question or two (post #16: Keyclone!!! ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=76457#post76457') )

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note.
