View Full Version : Evil things to do to rude people
In my previous topic ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=9691'), people posted some things they did when they got harassed or when people were very rude to them. This topic is to discuss possible things you can do against it.
Make sure you keep everything legal and within the ToU/ToS/EULA! The idea is to make smart use of the game rules here, NOT to abuse them. There is a thin line there, don't cross it ;)
A - Action / R - Reaction
A - Someone demands money from them or he/she will report you.
R - Put money in the trade window and don't press trade. Keep the trade window open and go do something else. (don't forget to report the blackmail behavior). This might drive the other person nuts, as there is 2000G within his reach (but just not reachable enough)
A - People DEMAND that you take them with you in an instance (or they will report you)
R - Invite them and get them killed, then kick them out of the group
A - "OMG HAX!!!!"
R - "It's called multiboxing, you mongoloid" (C) Skuggoman
A - [someone saying something offensive]
R - With all characters:

Don't get me wrong this is funny, But when people read our forums is this the impression we really want to make?Good point.
Then again, these are just ideas/quotes I found elsewhere, but I can see how it's different when they are centralized.

anyone who have read the blizzard forums, know the bashing we have resived as well as anyone that have general og tradechat and lfg turned on, should have picked it up as well.
doubt it comes as a suprise to anyone that is smart enough to either write www.dual-boxing.com or google there way over here after searching for dual/multi boxers.
this may be less then proper manner and etiquete, but heck, we are people to, and i guess most of us boxers have been unlucky enough to been targetet by those who cant stand our hobby.
i am sure gm's as they are people to. atleast those that multi box them self, does read the forum and quite so have a enjoyable feeling by reading this tread :)
edit, removed a spelling error

when i was in riyadh, saudia arabia, i drew lots of attention. being 6'2" blonde hair, blue eyes, dark suit & sunglasses... while everyone around you is in a white robe... let's just say i didn't blend.
anyhow, people would drive passed (you always walk against traffic behind barriers.. gives them less time to react to your presence).. and would demonstrate their knowledge of the english language. and to my surprise, they actually had some phrases down cold. things like ' f* you!' or 'f* America' or 'bin laden is great'.. you get the idea.
and what was my response?
/target fanatic
/wave
/big-smile
/say Thank you!
and continue walking. of course.. this always resulted in a very puzzled look on their faces... and more then once, after the puzzled look, the fanatic would turn to his buddy and say something in arabic.
my guess at what he said? "hey... did i say that right? he seemed happy? didn't i insult him??"
i always got a chuckle out of it

This topic is not to fight fire with fire, it's just about having fun with rude/harassing people. It's not meant to fight fire with fire.

I have a macro for those ignorant players that gets annoying.
/s It's called multiboxing, and yes it is legal. Google is your friend.
Even if people are rude to you that dosen't mean you should be rude back, it just creates more problems in the long run anyway.

A - Someone harasses you by saying he will (falsely) report you as AFK in a battleground.
R - Report that person AFK(with at least 3 characters), target him and send him a macro that says "/w %t has reported you AFK. Type this to confirm your presence: /afk notafk"
This will send a whisper to your target and "/afk [anything] will make him go AFK and kick him out of the battleground.
I'm almost certain that this is reportable as harassment.
Not on topic exactly, but I told a guildy once that was asking how to go down with their flying machine, (x), that there was an ejection seat by hitting <alt> + F4. "Guildie has gone offline" - classic!

hehe that afk one reminds me of this ^^
Guildage ('http://www.wowbash.com/image-1998.html')
although quick warning on that one.. I don't think it's a harassment problem tbh.. it's an impersonation problem.. tricking someone into thinking ur a GM may piss them (the GMs) off a little.
I'm almost certain that this is reportable as harassment. It's definitely not harassment:
tr.v. ha·rassed, ha·rass·ing, ha·rass·es
1. To irritate or torment persistently.
2. To wear out; exhaust.
3. To impede and exhaust (an enemy) by repeated attacks or raids.
There's nothing persistent/repetitive about it. However, since I was doubting about it, I removed it.

I have an even better response for all these people, and it even treads the "high ground."
Just ignore them.
They aren't worth your time, and why validate their stupidity by even responding? Frankly, I can't understand why so many people spend so much time figuring out the most clever way to burn these tards. I think the greatest burn of all is to treat them like they aren't even worthy of a response (they aren't). It just also happens to be the easiest recourse.

Give me god plz!!!11
Me: I’m sorry a mob stole all my gold. It happened right outside. Maybe if you go
outside and kill them you can get it all back, then give me some.
If there right next to me I open trade and give them one
copper. I then state “Don’t spend it all in one place now”. Most cancel trade
and walk away lol.
Them “Ur Reported durrrrrr some retarded statement”
Me “lol Best of luck with that”
Far as I’m concerned the conversation is over. But nope they
continue to run their mouth. I repeat
myself a few more times until I hit ignore, a few days later I unignore them
and send them a in game message via mail.
Subject “Follow up”
Hi just doing a follow up. Wanted to know how “Enjoy Ur ban”
Statement is working out for you.
NOT ONE has replied back lol.
I pretty much ignore 95% of any message received. Mainly because they start out
asking a really stupid question.
“Why is there so many of you”
“You pay for 5 wow accounts”
“Botter/cheater/hax/etc”
“WTF”
“How many accounts do you have”
“U must be rich!” (Gee $75 dollars makes me rich all right.
Some of the ones that are long winded and really EMO I sometimes
respond for kicks, just too really get them going, it’s funny. The .001% I point them to here and we have a
normal conversation which is rare.
Oh something that I noticed, when passing a meeting stone I
normall hear someone say botter or something of the like. So I normally say “
LFG, oh wait, Nevermind! XD”, that normally really grinds their gears.

stupid people be themselves that they can report you for harassment?!
You: type /afk noafk
Stupid: /afk noafk
Stupid has left the battle group
Stupid reports you for harassment,
reason for report:
Stupid to GM: um ya you told me to do /afk and I was kicked out of the battle grounds
Gm: umm you do know that when you /afk in a battle grounds you get kicked right?
Stupid: duh but he made me do it! QQ
GM: you really are stupid aren’t you?!
Stupid: dhu wha?

well not that special but talk with each character when they're crying about you botting or something.
for example
Them: WTF
Shaman1: WTF indead !
Shaman2: don't bother Shaman1 (insert your name here :p) they do not understand our powers !
shaman3: indeed they do not
just keep this up and they'll eventually go insane and run off instead of stalking you trying to report you :D
another mean one to do to opposing faction is have your main run up,flag pvp and have your slaves behind something so the person can't see your actually a boxer. always fun when they attack then the rest of you comes out (well on a pve server this is a 90% sure pvp kill)

Well on a PVP server, while grinding I don't spread my guys out unless its PVP or for show. So while leveling I had a few skull levels run up to gank the 2 lowbies they saw, until I spread out and it was now 5 lowbies. I forget i think at 38 or 42, in that range at least I killed my first 70. Now that was funny.

This is the second AMAZING claim of giant killing I've read this morning....
Tell me how, even 5v1, that you people are able to kill a 70 while being 10+ levels lower??? Do you have +30% to spell hit? 300mp5? It is just blows my mind. If I sat my 70 mage, AFK, and 5 level 50 shaman started attacking me, I'd expect my static health regen would be able to keep me alive... at least until you go oom, drink and go oom again.
Are there any lowbie boxers on Deathwing that would care to take a whack at me? I really want to see this, because from my own experience, I wasn't able to even land a spell on people/creatures 6+ levels higher than me.
Korruptor
07-16-2008, 12:51 PM
With my four lvl 42 shaman I was able to burn off 30% of a lvl66's warriors health after he started attacking my group. If I had seen him coming he would have lost a lot more.
It is far easier to kill players far higher then you then it is to kill MOB/NPC's. If a player, though lvl 70, has crappy greens, little or no resists and is the wrong talent spec the probability of burning him down goes way up.

You also don't notice the 20-30% resist rates as much when you're shooting 5 times the number of spells at the person. :P Plus, you're WAY stronger against PVP targets than you are against PVE targets all other things being the same.

I can kill a 70 with 2 lvl 57 toons .... But only with the help of the guards in town.
I had a shodowpriest gank me near the town in siltherus last night.
After I made the 30sec walk back from the graveyard, I waited for him to start casting anything. Then clicked counter-spell.
Suddenly all the guards in town rushed him and killed him pretty quick. They left me alone.
He then came back in town and dotted me up. So I ice-blocked and watched the guards kill him again.
After about 1/2 hour. I killed him more often then he could kill me.

You have to spread out vs. cloth. If you visit my site watch some of my 5 box pvp videos (there’s 2) you’ll see how I deal with ??.
Killing skulls levels can be easy, it can also be hard. To prove a point, here is me single boxing with a friend, we duo’ed from level 10 to 70 together, me as a Feral Druid, my friend as a Holy Pally. The movie pretty much consists of killing Skull level players or taking on groups of people 4-5 vs. 2 all of them being bright red a level or two away from skull while we were a green con to them.

1) Grounding totems work on level 70 spells
2) PvP is hit-capped. A level 1 will resist a bit, but not excessively, even fighting a level 70.
3) Your health doesn't regen in combat unless you're wearing health regen gear
That being said, I've killed a level 70 druid at 49 with my 5 locks. Never underestimate how much multiple dot stacks hurt.

hell yeah reverse psychology FTW
"reported? cool i haven't talked to a GM in a few days, hopefully they will say whats up but i doubt it"
i hope trolls are reading this - cause here's a tip. GM's talk to us and make fun of you in subtle ways. have not talked to one who outright insulted a noob reporting, probably because it would be unprofessional and a SS could get them in some shit, but take it from me...they will laugh at whatever i say about you.
i was so nice to so many people....the constant flames and hate wore me down to be the way i am today 8o
take today for example
"dual boxing three accounts?"
"yeah, how you doin' bud?"
"four of five is cooler."
"yup, probably gonna start that up real soon"
"three is just lame"
"thanks for the input" target, assist, /spit

The "we all love you" was also sent by Jeck, Willyam and Avarell.

While I almost always ignore people who try to harass me, I have no problems with people deciding not to turn the other cheek when idiots decide to act like... idiots. This is not a situation where morons can instigate and then point at Blizzard and say "omg see! he was mean to me! ban multiboxing!" If they don't want a problem, then it's as easy as not instigating one.

That being said, I've killed a level 70 druid at 49 with my 5 locks. Never underestimate how much multiple dot stacks hurt.Heh... I was solo questing in Zeth'gor on my level 60 hunter (decently twinked) and a 70 mage landed behind me, sheeped me, and killed my pet. I saw he was 70 so I decided I'd just plink some arrows at him while he killed me and moved on. Except that his health was dropping like a stone. So I started chasing him (yeah, a level 70, running from a level 60 petless BM spec hunter that he'd gotten the drop on) and finally killed him. I'd aggro'ed too many mobs on the way and died, but I thought it was hysterical.
I armoried him and his armory still showed his level as 69. Looks as though he had just hit 70 and grabbed his flying mount, and the first thing the little prick decided to do was gank people 10 levels below him. Guess he should've updated both his gear and skills first. I didn't pop bestial wrath, intimidation, rapid fire... nothing but auto-shot and arcane shot. It was awesome. Good thing I was soloing, if I'd killed him with a multiboxed team, he would be posting on the forums and claiming that it's the only reason I killed him. :)
