"Please only post in this thread if you are contributing an addon to be considered"

The Addon Codex is a summation of addons useful to multiboxers. Feel free to add to the thread, but please take discussions to another post or to PM's. Let's keep this neat and clean!

AV Enabler - Join AV Queue all at once for getting groups/raids in.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monitor Status - Part of Cosmos (Xzin)

http://www.wowwiki.com/MonitorStatus

VERY helpful to monitor the health of your party. Can be set to percentage based or total. Flashes when affected by various ailments and can be set to be always on. Dependant on party order though, so may not always show the same order with different leaders.

In 2.0+, Healbot Continued may be a better option than Monitor Status, depending on your preferences as it allows for click casting of decurses, etc.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bongos / Bartender 3 (Xzin)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2003/

These are two separate UI plugins that both do similar tasks. They allow you to have more bars on screen. What I found was most helpful for me was to mirror my physical X-Keys on screen, such that I did not have to look down to learn how to cast everything. This greatly assisted the learning process and even though I printed out the WoW Icons onto the keycaps already, it made it even easier.

Both Bongos and Bartender 3 should allow you to do this. Previously, I used Flexbar - which was extremely configurable but broke with 2.0 (may have since been fixed) but was VERY hard to configure. You almost had to program it rather than configure it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

PartyCastingBars (Xzin)

These are really helpful. They let you monitor your entire party's casting bars on a single box. This lets you quickly know if your other boxes are unable to cast or even if they have the wrong target. This UI mod is built into Cosmos.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trinity Bars (Suribusi)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4975/

One of the sweet features is hotkey binding. All you have to do is turn on hotkey binding mode (with a couple clicks from an anchored button on the mini map like a lot of other addons), hover your mouse over a button on your action bar and press a key and it binds that action bar slot to that key (works with modifier keys also). So when I want to config something on my 4 boxes, I use my synch'd mouse to do it to all 4 at the same time, using the multibox broadcast from my main box to set the bind when the mouse is over it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

TwoBoxToolkit (Katharsis)

http://wowinterface.com/downloads/info7199-TwoBoxToolkit.html

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

BindPad (Skulk)

It allows you to Bind Spells or Macros directly to Keys - without the need to place it in one of your Actionbars. That should help you alot to keep your interface tidy. It also allows you to rebuild your XKeys- or Keyboardlayout - so its a lot easier to remember which macro is bound to what key (i think its more important to those guys, who wanted to use their keypad...like i do). Keybinding is very easy, just klick the macro, hit your key, hit "Yes i'm sure" and your Key is bound....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

AutoProfit (The IT Monkey)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1417/

One click sells all the "Junk" items in your bag. Even more helpful when you are running multiple boxes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

cEasyHealer (The IT Monkey)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1514/

Found it super easy to configure. It gives you a dragable box for each member of your party or raid. Only wish it gave you a box for party pets as well.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Follow Variable MainChar (tequilale)

http://files.incessant-logic.net/games/WoW/multi.zip

I was doing an addon, that allow me to follow my MainChar with one KeyStroke. If my main dies, i use the other charakter and press this following-key. Thats it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Healbot (Stealthy)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3802/

What this mod does is show a health bar for each person on your party (or raid) and let you cast any pre-configured beneficial spell by moving your mouse over the bar and using the appropriate key mouse combinations (Click/Shift/Ctrl/Alt). Target/Assist/Focus are also supported.
For example, you can set it up to cast Renew with your left mouse button, Flash Heal with your middle mouse button and Prayer of Healing with the right mouse button. Shift-left-click could be Power Word Shield, Alt-right-click could be Cure Disease and so on.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Automaton (Xzin/Steph)

http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Automaton

Auto accepts group invites, Auto accepts Rezzes, Auto accepts BGs

SKIPS STUPID TEXT IN QUESTS, SUCH AS THE FLIGHT MASTER AND SIMPLY SHOWS THE FLIGHT PATHS.

Auto accept summons

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pitbull (Various/Xzin)

http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/7738/

A popular Unit Frames Mod.

My multiboxing mods list (with minor differences between group types):

http://l00py.net/wow/PriestLocksMag_UI.jpg

Items:
1 = Fubar_MoneyFu
2 = Fubar_DurabilityFu (shows durability of your items + auto-repairs at NPCs)
3 = PerformanceFu
4 = FarmerFu (shows how many of a particular item(s) you've farmed)
5 = AllPlayedFu (time played among all chars on this account)
6 = Vanas Kill-On-Site mod (tracks payback for later)
7 = BugSack (yay for no errors on screen!)
8 = RegenFu (Mp5, etc.)
9 = SoulJarFu (helps track your soulstone buffs; compliments CT_Buffmod nicely)
10 = QuestsFu (watches quest completion for whole group. VERY nice for boxers)
11? = All the 11s are Pitbull unit frames; very lightweight in terms of CPU and resources but feature-rich.
11a = Focus
11b = Self, group and partypet bars (all completely configurable)
--- Note that Donrafael has aggro here ;)
11c = partytarget and pettarget bars
11d = Your target and your target's target
12 = XP Gain Notify
13 = IceHUD (like ArcHUD but fewer bugs and less overhead)
14 = Omen (like KThreatMeters but with MUCH less overhead)
15 = CT_BuffMod (shows bars plus plays audibile alerts when buffs are expiring)
16 = Mr. Plow (rearranges/stacks/sorts your inventory and bank)
17 = MiniFriends

Some others that aren't listed but that I use regularly:
--> OmniCC (big, bright flash on a button when the cooldown timer is up)
--> Atlas mod set for maps and instance loot tables
--> Auctioneer
--> AuctionFilterPlus (sorts AH list by full stacks, buyout only, etc.)
--> AutoAcceptInvite
--> AutoProfitX (automagically sells gray trash loot and specified others)
--> Cartographer (teh awesomeness)
--> Clique (Easier to config than Healbot and turns Pitbull Unit Frames into Healbot on steroids. Can't live without this now.)
--> CT_Core, CT_ExpenseHistory and CT_MailMod
--> DeclineDuel
--> Enhanced Flight Map
--> Enhanced ToolTip
--> EquipCompare (compares loot to your equipped items)
--> FreeRefills (auto-buys food/water/reagents that you specify)
--> Fubar (ACE2 bars like TitanPanel; much less overhead)
--> SpeedFu (speedometer for WoW)
--> Fizzwidget's TrackMenu
--> Customized version of "Headshot" mod; plays sound when one of my guys lands a crit; makes watching aggro a bit easier
--> Igor's Mass Auction (nice for spamming auctions)
--> LevelSnap (screenshot on ding)
--> LightHeaded (puts WoWhead.com quest info into your quest log!)
--> MobHealth2 and MobInfo2 (remembers info about your NPC kills)
--> OneBag (ACE2 bag consolidation mod)
--> Reslack (autoaccept rez/summon)
--> SCT/SCTd (modified scrolling combat text)
--> SellValue (remembers how much stuff sells for and puts it into tooltip)
--> SimpleRaidTargetIcons (radial selection for raid/group target markers)
--> SpellAlertSCT (warns when enemy casts spells)
--> SuperMacro (many macro enhancements)
--> ThreatToKTM (sends Omen threat meter data to people who have KTM but not Omen)
--> TinyTip/TinyTipExtras/TinyTipOptions (smaller, more better unit tooltips)
--> TomTom (allows LightHeaded to set map waypoints with on-screen direction arrow from WoWhead.com coordinate data)
--> WoW Instant Messenger (pops up IM-style dialogs for /whispers and tracks /whisper history)

Now, all that (because the ACE2 framework is so well done) only uses about 30-35MB of UI memory. Start up another thread or PM me if you have any questions about configuring any of these or how any of it works. ;)

That's too pretty and too much work put into for me to delete it Ugh ;) I'll keep it up as a second post on this thread instead of incorporating it into the main.

Keyclone - I use this add-on pack. http://www.grimpickle.com

Grim & Co. keeps this updated pretty good and FuBar is in this pack. He also incorporates WinAce into the pack for easy updates.

Hope this helps.

You can just click this macro and it will do it for you

/script for bag = 0,4,1 do for slot = 1, GetContainerNumSlots(bag), 1 do local name = GetContainerItemLink(bag,slot); if name and string.find(name,"ff9d9d9d") then DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Selling "..name); UseContainerItem(bag,slot) end; end; end

works for me, I got it off ui.worldofwar.net

I just noticed that my personal "OhMyGodHowDidIEverLiveWithoutThis" mod, for both solo play and multi-boxing, is missing from this list :shock:

SmartBuff (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2071/) is an absolute God-send.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

SmartBuff (Otlecs)

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2071/

Entirely automates buffing, allowing each character to provide specific buffs on a per-class basis. Bind SmartBuff to a key on every character and just mash the button until the entire team is fully buffed.

Simply amazing, and very, very simple to configure.

These days, it comes bundled with SmartDebuff, but there's no dependency between the two, so if you already have your own personal favourite debuff mod, you can just disable SmartDebuff and still benefit from SmartBuff.

Where did you get those chat windows? They aren't the normal blizzard ones. And with them, do you need Chatscroll? Or is that implemented in that particular mod?

Thanks in advance!

I tried TwoBox Toolkit for the auto quest accept, group accepts but found I kept getting errors with TwoBox Toolkit whenever someone spoke in General chat. :(

So I removed that and got some better stuff.

Automaton - I already had this to handle group invites. :)

Quest Announcer (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5343-QuestAnnouncer.html) - Lets me know where my girls are in thier quests.

idQuestAutomation (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7091-idQuestAutomation.html) - Auto accepts quests shared, auto completes and accepts new quest, makes the whole process so much easier.

I think he uses Prat. A VERY good chatbox addon. Ace2 so it auto-updates via WowAceUpdater.

It may not be of particular use for multiboxers, but they have proven invalueble nonetheless:

Mobmap (www.mobmap.de)
Ingame Database of NPCs, recipes, drops, ... Provides a nice map overlay as well as textual info on where to find whatever it is you're looking for.

Lightheaded (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7017-LightHeaded.html)
Provides all the comments gathered on WoWhead (www.wowhead.com) concerning quests. If you ever get lost, can't seem to find that one particular item, Lightheaded will get you going once again.

PartyTarget ('http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1595/')
Shows all your partys targeted units in a portrait next to their own!

I started using Selfbuff yesterday - its on curse.

Very nice mod for paladin tanks - it tracks yr buffs and reminds you when they need refreshing - seems to be set up to bind to middle mouse as default.

So i get a message - Titan needs Blessing of Might, Seal of crusader - roll mouse wheel back twice and it refreshes the buffs , target a party member and roll and it refreshes their buffs.

Nice easy menu system to configure it all as well
