First blush with Battlegrounds

So after hitting 70 I decided to hit BG's for some fun and honor toward Wal-mart epics. I spent most of my time in AB since that is where this weekends honor quest was. One of the things I found interesting was the fact that when I would engage in combat it would take my enemies a minute or two to figure out that I was boxing. What surprised me more(I use multiple classes) was that they then decided to kills my "brain" toon which is a 70 Proc Pally. Leaving my casters there to pound on them will I take punishment. Now it was split as to whether at this point I died or they did, but its the opposite of what I expected. I figured they woudl go after my casters first. Anyone else having a similar experience?

I've had success making it "obvious" that my Paladin was the group leader. They'd all go after him, leaving my shaman free to beat the crap out of them.

Tankadin FTW! If it gets ugly, I just set the Resto Shaman to chain cast chain heal (right along with DPS) so the group would survive a bit longer. And the Paladin has concentration aura on to help the casters keep on plugging away.

And if you can be quick with the BoP, you'll last a long time.


exactly the same thing here - love having a prot pali in BGs to soak up damage for my nukers.
