Hello

I rock 4 shaman on my 1 PC. Its been fine **Minus the account issues that are resolved now!)** I have successfully moved through a lot of the pre BC content with basically no problems.

Now though, I am starting to think about pvp and seeing bosses that are a bit more complicated to beat. I currently play with everyone on follow and I have a couple formation macros but those arent very good for anything but positioning myself for the initial attack.

Is there some methods or tips to mastering movement of my alts without actually going to their personal window??? Anything I can do from the Main window??? It feels like I will struggle a lot in pvp with one CPU using this format unless i figure something out.

Thanks!!

I usually use my main to position them, and I have a change of command macro (Working now, thanks everyone) that allows me to change the command to someone else if my main dies.
In a PVP situation, I move my main in a circle that's just barely outside of the shoulders of my team, or move direcly through my team to make them turn around. It's not instant, but it's usually fast enough to get casting done..

I have also set keyclone to not pass the movement keys, but I've kept the arrow keys for movement without mouse, but it's not accurate enough to use in a pvp situation.. However, I have sometimes used it to confuse my opponents with success. Hit the forward button, and the team will run forward and usually fan out. When they are far enough away, I hit the "follow" button again, and they run towards my main and gather up.. Nice way to gain some time, especially when fighting melee classes.

Sounds like you're referring to Arrow Key movement on your clones perhaps? These keys (if you still use them as default) are great for moving clones up/back or rotating to track a moving target (read: pesky rogue).

As for bosses/gimmick fights keep in mind that you have the unique advantage of running 4x Shaman which for the most part means a whole new set of strats/techniques that you'll never find on Wowhead for boss comments ~

Example: Hungarfen in Underbog.
The 'normal' way to kill him is to spread out, and everyone individually moves out of mushroom range, etc. If the tank drags Hungarfen around and everyone pays attention to shroom spawns then it's win... you COULD try the same with your shammies dancing back and forth ala arrow keys, or you could do like I do. I Pally pull him to the bridge you come up to him on, and I just move my whole crew backwards slowly DPSing and Healing, inching along, never stopping. I shuffle ahead to past where he was standing to the wall, turn around and go back to the bridge. He usually doesn't make it back that far.

You've also got multiple Grounding Totems which tbh is the most OP thing in all of WoW in my opinion rofl ~
Some fights you just steamroll over like Omor because you beat them so unconventionally.

So, really... in PvE i wouldn't sweat it. 4x Shaman = Brute force dps and gadget totems ftw! In PvP i would imagine learning to rotate your pack of clones with arrow keys will make a huge diff.

thanks for the feedback - could you help me out with this command marco? Switching main to another alt. That would be pretty useful actually.

I really suggest you check the wiki and ask specifics in support forums instead.

We'd need to know how you target, etc 1st.. focus? party1? using keyclone? pip? etc etc.

I setup a formation for my slaves on my PvP and PvE team that works well, but for movement, I have the "Insert", "Delete", "Home", "End", "Page Up", and "Page Down" keys all bound to the basic movements. They're all being passed to my slaves, so if I need them to move forward, just hit "Home" and they step forward. This really helps with turning my guys, getting them to move out of danger, etc.

I'm actually going to post a second instructional video that will have a lot of stuff about movement.

So stay tuned for that. <3
