Im seeing many multiboxers or dual screen players are using Vista vs XP due to some screen latency. I currently have XP and Vista Business; I am about to purchase a new machine for dual screen/dual account play. I am curious with video issues that have been mentioned if my version of Vista (Vista Business) would be recomended or is there a feature in the higher versions that is better.
Thx,
Drew

This question is actually of importance to me as well. I'm currently running XP but I own a legit copy of Vista that I simply never use because it seems that in single box play, with my settings cranked at max my framerate is considerably lower than when I run in XP. Does this change for some reason when running multiple clients at lower resolutions, which I would be for playing multiple accounts simultaniously? I plan on playing two accounts at first, three at the very most.
My system specs are as follows:
EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor
EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Currently I've been having a few video issues in XP with any 3D accelerated games but EVGA seems really cool in helping me get that problem solved. I also have no problems dropping another 2GB of memory in provided it would vastly improve my performance, however since I've previously been only running XP and it doesn't truly support much more than 2GB of RAM I didn't feel it necessary.
Thanks for your input!

64 bit OS's support more RAM. Vista is quite RAM hungry, so it's definately better to have 4GB, even if you aren't Multiboxing :-)

I'm a fan of XP. I can't stand Vista, from a performance viewpoint. My main rig isn't top notch, but it handles 5 boxing without a hiccup.

I was going to recommend OS/2 Warp.ROFL!

(Gawd...am I one of two people here who would recognize that desktop interface if I saw it? :P)

I would recogonize os2/warp because one of our older phones systems uses it for the voicemail box software. (lucent Messaging 2000)
