Well, now The Rupt Bro's have farmed the basic items from PvP and has moved to a serious phase of HC dungeon exploration.

Mana-Tombs

I figured I would start with the pleasant Mana-Tombs and here is a short guide on how I did the bosses.
The boxing setup for me is 4 x Shammy + my holy priest (badly geared).

Pandemonius:

- After clearing the whole room I placed my chars with their backs to the west wall.
- Buffed with Fort and Shadow Protection, dropped 2 x Earth, 2 x Fire Ele's, Grounding Totems etc.
- Pulled Pandemonius with my main and started heavy nuking. When Pandemonius pops his shield up I cease all dps and pop a few Chain Heals + refresh Grounding Totems (my priest AoE heals non-stop the whole fight).
- This fight was very easy, no casulties.

Tavarok:

- Placed Grounding Totems etc a bit back then put 2 x Earth, 2 x Fire Ele's close to Tavarok and left all my chars back with my other totems. (My pull failed and Tavarok came to my "totem camp"). Idea with this is to avoid his AoE atleast for a few secs.
- Nuked and AoE healed as much as I could but first fight failed really badly. I got him down but all but my main shammy died (he had 170 health left).
- Not that hard with a tad bit more patience.

Nexus-Prince Shaffar:

- Placed Grounding Totems etc and popped my friends 2 x Earth, 2 x Fire Ele.
- Started off with CL on the orbs and kept killing them when they respawned. Otherwise full dps on Prince.
- Refreshed Grounding Totems (Prince spams DD Dmg).
- No casulties.

Other then the mistake on Tavarok I wiped 3 times and every time it was on groups of 4 or more. The melee hit hard and fast (obvisouly) and this caused a problem as my tactics are still in works for HC mode, but I'm getting there.
I forgot to fraps from the start and only got a few bad clips but will try to remember to add clips later when I've done it a few times.

Sethekk Halls

After Mana-Tombs I thought about where to go next and obviously the next door neighbour was at the top of my mind. As I also have a feral druid on same account as my priest I knew I could try to get Azus down while I'm at it so here is how I did it.

Darkweaver Syth:

- Normal boss totems for me with a few fire and earth ele's.
- 110% dps on Syth and on first elemental spawn I took them down. Noticed he was dropping really fast in health so continued to nuke him while my priest AoE healed and feared the adds.
- No casulites.

Azus:

This guy was a real pain in the butt. I summoned him and quickly logged out my druid to get my priest in. Wiped 4 times with this combo so I logged my druid to tank and still wiped 2 more times until I got him down with a very boring tactic.

- Druid tanked while my shamans only healed (tank dps :( )
- When Azus phases out and adds spawn I popped 2 earth and 2 fire eles and started to dps with shammies the adds while druid stayed with Azus (to grab quick agro when he "phases back in").
- After a very long and boring fight he died.
- No casulties (on last fight).

Talon King Ikiss:

After spending tons of money on my shammies (threads, mounts etc) I was low on cash and after a few wipes in Seth Halls + the Azus wipes I needed to fix my gear. So I thought I'd just pop the good ol' repair kit. The repairs took my last money so almost bailed out on Ikiss. Changed my mind and after 2 wipes I got the HC version of him down like this.
Found a nice video on youtube and that tactic worked pretty well. Forgot to do a few heals so in the end my priest and 1 of my shammies died.

All in all I was happy to get into the HC instance farming and hope the learning curve will continue like this.

Congrats. I too successfully ran Heroic Mana Tombs for the first time on the weekend. Previously I wasn't able to get past the first boss, but after revising my strategy it was easily done.

The second boss wiped me on my first attempt too. I had all my girls in a line side-by-side, it was fine until one of them pull ago and he cleaved us. He was down to ~1-2K health (1 more lightning bolt would have done it) and then came the cleave. We each suffered 5-8K damage. Needles to say we had to wait for our Earth Ele cooldown. Second attempt I organised them into the same formation as Quag (Slave Pens) and it was cake - no death. :P

The Prince was the easiest fight in the instance, drop Grounding Totems, Fire Elementals and blast him down. I didn't bother targeting the orbs, I used Chain Lightning when it was available, but focused solely on him.

I had about 3-4 wipes, but all caused by human error and pulling mobs at the wrong time. Packs of 4 mobs I kited successfully.

Thank you and congratulations to you as well :)

I must admit I do not use kiting for any packs, normally I can get enough heals from my priest and Stoneclaw Totems grab the mobs for the needed stuns. Did try on a few packs but never seem to get enough distance for it to really pay off.

Was thinking about the Prince fight and the orb, CL was what I was using but somehow a lot of the times I CL'ed the orbs never got hit eventhough they were right next to the Prince (resists I guess).

I helped my brother get his epic flight form on his druid. We wiped 17 times I think. Seriously, that fight is just stupid.
The way the encounter is written it seriously gimps feral and balance druids trying to complete their epic FF quest. I totally agree.
