RFC First Go!

Just went in to RFC with my 5x13 shaman, and it was a absolute blast.

13 is a tad bit low untwinked, I gave up due to having to eat dinner and needing to repair just after killing the "hungerer" boss. Up until the pull before that boss and the boss itself, all went real smooth - but the big pulls there + the hard hitting boss was a bit to much for untwinked level 13s.

I dinged 14 and will be back after diner !! ;)

my 5x level-13 rogues couldn't get through. i wasn't able to get all the way through without a death until 15 (i think i ding'd 15 in the instance).

i also had very little gear (not even close to twinked)

Just discovered the whole 'kiting and totemic destruction' thingy. Lots of fun when I pulled two groups.

Update: Cleared entire place at 14, all nameds - much easier at 14, only had 2 wipes - once when I was to inpatient to wait for a wanderer, and 1 when I accidentally pulled a boss :P

Update:

Kept farming RFC, need just 1 more dagger and 1 more cloak now (and some damn green leather boots of any kind would be nice, hate wearing statless stuff :P).

It is now quite a breeze to push through. Just dinged 17, and I believe the xp is a bit slower - Debating heading for WC now, but just not sure my gear / level can take it yet.

Congrats! BTW, anyone know how hard it would be to corpse run to RFC? I would really like to take my level 13 locks to that instance. Any alliance here ever ran it?

great..get to the front gate...die of course which was expected. but i spawned at razor hill graveyard! omg...crap. going to try a bit and see how far i can get

Ugh, I'm having trouble doing RFC with my 3x hunter + priest setup. I was still wiping at 16. I did manage to make it through all the quests though. Things did improve once i started individually targeting the pets.

Tried out WC at 18, a bit tough, but definitly doable -- started a blog to keep a record (not quite caught up to where I am yet there though :P)
