Ok heres the deal.... My friend and i are always fighting over my computer to see who can get on the game and when. So i bought 2 gigs of ram and a 8500gt graphics card and i was wondering if i have 2 keyboards and 2 mice....is there anyway i could output one screen to my tv which is hooked up from my card with an s-video cable. I have checked the faqs and stuff but no one has anything really about 2 people and one computer...any help would be awesome.

You cant really have 2 mouses and 2 keyboards on the same computer without them fucking each other up. You should just get a case, a fan, a motherboeard and a processor, u have a video card and screen.

its a cheap fix just build another comp up.

Or tell your freind to BUY HIS OWN COMPUTER

lol ;)

If you were using Linux this could be done very easy using a program called Userful. It allows you to turn 1 pc into up to 8 workstations. But it requires a linux OS. There is another windows based program called SoftXpand, this program works very well. I am currently installing it in 3 labs of 22-25pcs at work. I will replace a complete lab of 22 with 4. It seems to work pretty well for graphics, but I have not tried anything like wow. The only problem is the software costs $60 per seat, so you would be spending $120 to run the two workstations off your one pc. If you want to check out the trial version goto www.miniframe.com ('www.miniframe.com') you can download it and use it without any restrictions I believe for 80 hours.
