Ok, a few days ago I was switching some of my hardware around (specifically harddrives) and I decided to backup/restore...

All of my programs are fine as far as I can tell except Octopus... The click broadcasting isn't functioning properly anymore(Also the key broadcasting doesn't work anymore period). I don't use Octopus for WoW, but for a flash game I play (I open 4 windows) and I use the click broadcasting to simulate clicking on all of the clients at the same time... This was working before, I had it at:

Foreground wait: 0ms
Click Duration: 0ms
Event Wait: 30ms
(Not in WoW Mode)

WoW Mode doesn't work because the windows need to be cycled (from what I can gather)... The point being it was working fine with the exact settings I have now before I moved my files to my new harddrive...

I did some searching here and apparently a test of whether it's Octopus or a problem with the program on my side is to turn up the Event Wait to something like 500ms. I did this, it didn't change the problem. It used to be able to click with near 100% accuracy on 4 windows... Now I'm lucky to get 2, and randomly it'll do 4, and sometimes 3.

I've messed with several of the options now and everything turns out the same...

I'm not sure what else I can do at this point, I know it was possible before because I was using it and it was working. Now it's not, something must have changed.

Hopefully someone has some insight into this...

Regards,
Sparrowhawk

Have you re-added the mouse buttons that you want broadcasting to your "clicks" whitelist?

Did you do an ghost image of your previous hdd, or did you reinstall the OS and the apps manually? If the latter, maybe you didn't install the driver for your mouse and octopus isn't picking up the buttons correctly? When I use my logitech mouse on a new system, only my standard 3 buttons work until I install the logitech software - then I have use of all the buttons. Maybe it's related somehow even if it's not the exact problem you have.
