Start with the wiki ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki')

The only people who suceed in dual boxing is the people who really try to help THEMSELVES, before asking blatant questions like that ;p.

There is a BIG learning curve to this sometimes. Just got to read, read, read, and practice, practice, practice.

I've not really asked into help, when it comes to the setup of different things .. You can get all the information you need by reading other posts and the wiki, actually I didn't noticed the wiki until I was 20 or something. But like the other guy said, help yourself .. ask into specific questions if you have those .. and most importantly, SEARCH! ..

ask into specific questions
The problem with some of the "beginner post" are they are asking very broad questions. I have seen that if someone has a very specific question they generally get a very specific answer or a link that answer that question.

What is wrong with you new people? Don't you ever read?
Read the rules!
General Forum Rules
Before asking for support of ANY KIND, search the Wiki and/or the forum search function.
That should clear things up....

(i really need to get the docs completed... )Docs would be great - but I have to say that between the tutorials and some of your posts here I had no problems:
1. Setting up a PiP for my 2 instances of WoW
2. Setting up a whitelist to pass the keys I wanted.
3. Goofing with a couple of new characters until the transfer of one of my 2 70 hunters is complete to the new account.
BTW - Keyclone is excellent, thank you.

Most of the fun is figuring out how to make things work! Getting started, to me, is an informal test - it's the first hurdle to MBing, and if you give up before you try, and just expect other people to walk you through it, then you won't get far MBing, because the challenge gets greater the higher up you go, and the more characters you add to your team. I'm not saying that to be rude or mean, it's the truth - MB is *not* easy mode, and if you're not a tinkerer and experimenter, you are not going to enjoy it.
The players here who are doing great things in BGs and Arenas and Heroics and Kara are doing so because they put the work in, and lot of them did'nt have this site or the wiki to lean on. It's a LOT of work. Period. It's work YOU have to put in, to make everything work together.
My advice to newbies: dig into the materials here, try, try more, try again. If you get truly stuck, come here and ask, and then go try again. Be ready to wipe your UI and macros and start over many times. Be ready to respec to try different things. Be ready to be so frustrated you turn off your computer(s) and vow to never log in again - and then come back the next day and try again.
Okay, off my High Epic Horse. Try to have fun with this, if it's not fun, and the above doesn't sound fun, then you probably shouldn't MB. I'm just sayin'. MBing is not easy-mode to riches and fame, like a lot of the WoW General Forum mouthbreathers make it out to be.
