Was on my low level team in Brill when this occured:

(Binding hearthstone to Inn, a level 10 warlock named Lickmyballs is standing next to my quad team)

Lick - "WTF IS UP WITH U GUYS????"
Lick - "IM SO DAMN TIRED OF U GUYS!!!"
Me - "?"
Lick - "U THINK UR SO #$%@ COOL AND SPECIAL BUT UR NOT!!"
Me - "Are you talking to me?"
Lick - "YES!!! NO ONE GIVES A DAMN ABOUT U AND THINKS UR COOL!"
Me - "Go bother someone else, you can get off your soapbox now... /scram"

(I proceed to leave the Inn and he follows)

Lick - "OOOOOH SCRAM.... UR SUCH A RETARD!"
Me - "Welcome to the ignore list, a place where idiots like yourself can roam free and I can preserve my brain cells for awhile longer. I've not bothered you, now kindly beat it."
Lick - "YES YOU DO BOTHER ME!!!"
/ignore Lickmyballs

He follows me for another minute then gives up and walks away. Now normally, one or two remarks, I brush em off and ignore em but I thought... this guy's a flippin' idiot to try to piss me off with his vulgar name... so why not give him something to moan about for real!

/report GM x 4

I added him to my friends list and waited. I logged off shortly thereafter while never having spoken to a GM but was treated this morning when I logged in to seeing him on my friends list..... with a name change! He's now Katpuncher. So original.

Deciding that it was too tempting to pass up, I logged on my main from my low level team and unignored him then whispered him:

Me - "Oooh what happened?? Did they make you change your name :( "
Kat - "WTF!! WAS THAT U THAT REPORTED ME!!!!"
Me - " :whistling: "
/ignore Katpuncher

Just wanted to share my amusing encounter story lol.

LOL very nice. I've had a similar expierence which resulted in someone changing their name. Very entertaining.

I'd be tempted to report his offensive name yet again :)

Hehe, you might actually get in trouble reporting with 4 characters, which are obviously under your control?

I really think it's alot of fun to run AV with TuringTest AFK Reporter (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7857-TuringTestAFKReporter.html), it's a addon which have several variables, which states who to report "afk" .. and when you report with 4 characters, they normally get the idle debuff .. which means, that there's hardly any REAL afk'ers :) They're probably totally pissed, when I keep reporting them.

How do I make a link, which is not "named" the link but a "name" .. do understand what I mean? :-) So "TuringTest AFK Reporter" would be the link.

Somewhere there was a GM post encouraging mass reporting.

Blizzard treats it as FOUR CHARACTERS. Not one playing four. your $15 /m x4 = the right to /report x4Oh that's good to know cause I was actually feeling guilty about reporting 4 times and was going to apologize to whomever but never needed to. I did it hoping it would grab their attention on him.

When I rolled on EQ2 with a few friends our names were the following.

Me - Happyending
Friend1 - Moneyshots
FRiend2 - Tittysprinkles
Friend3 - Modots

month later friend2 logs on to see his name changes to Rainbowsprinkles. lol

Heh, my original Shaman names were Azzhat, Aszhat, and Azhat. 2 got reported, so I reported the 3rd myself. Now they all have similar names as my main pally. I prefer Team Asshat though. :(

Multiboxers = the best AFK police in BG's. It takes 2 reports to flag someone AFK in WSG, 3 in AB and EotS, and (i think) 5 in AV.

Great story. Reporting people for innapropriate names and vulgar language is one of my petty pass times.

Somewhere there was a GM post encouraging mass reporting.

Blizzard treats it as FOUR CHARACTERS. Not one playing four. your $15 /m x4 = the right to /report x4 I have read blue posts that go every direction on this issue:
1) Five reports carry 5x the weight of 1
2) 1 report is enough to get a GM to review the situation and drop a bannhammer
3) Five reports flood the ticketing system with duplicate spam (but isn't an actionable offense)

I have talked to multiple GMs on my toons, over the same issue. None seemed to be aware of my multiple personalities, well, we didn;t discuss it.
