video card upgrade

Hey, all!
So, i'm running the 8600gt and my performance is mediocre. Keep in mind that i'm quad boxing shaman and in major cities i will lag, but i can't even step foot in shat. So, would buying the 9600gtx be a nice upgrade? i'm currently running 2gigs of ram, 2 monitors, 1 PC. Any input would be great :D

From what I've read, the 9600gt is no better than the 8800gts, ehich should be a good upgrade from and 8600.

If you are going through the expense of the upgrade, why not get a 9800 series?

If you are willing to spend $200 on a video card, why not spend $400-500 on a crappy PC? I use a Sempron 1600 on 2 of my PC's. You might be ready for the future if WOW gets upgraded and then it is too much for so many on one PC.
