Hi, is it possible to have 2 screens connected to the same computer via the same port in the graph card and still get different windows or do i always get the same? if not is there a good and cheap hardware that can help me with this?

most of todays quality graphics boards (starting around $150) have 2 video out ports.
just connect a monitor to each and you're set

Hi, is it possible to have 2 screens connected to the same computer via the same port in the graph card and still get different windows or do i always get the same? if not is there a good and cheap hardware that can help me with this?to be frank, I am not sure what you trying to accomplish, so I just list few thing to take note on

if it is video card it should have two ports, so connect each screen to separate port

if you have only one port and it is build-in in MB, then do yourself a favor and buy a video card at least for $150-200

if you video card have only one port get better card

if you have a latest card with two ports and you want third screen using only two ports then you can get TripleHead2Go to stretch one window across two or three screens, but it is not what you call cheap

if you consider spliter like above make sure it is for ANALOG only, I heard too many horror storyes of fryed monitors and video ports if you try to do that with DVI

next time be more cleare on what you tring to accomplish, you will be surprise on how accurate info you can get around here, your post is too vague >.>
