Guild Bank Emptied!

Had a small problem when i logged in this morning. I checked the guild bank and it was completely gone. funny thing is.. when you go to the log.. it doesnt show anything out of the ordinary. Anyone else having a problem with this? Known bug or hax?

I called my friend because we are the only two members of the guild... and he said he didnt empty it. So i opened a ticket and i'll guess we'll see what happened.

Apologies if you knew this already but make sure you check the logs for each tab. They're different, which I didn't know until recently. :P

Bliz is capable of completely restoring guild banks so don't give up.

took them almost 8 days to do it for me, but I get everything back. it took me 3 days to deal with it all...

i had this happen to me as well. Your back didn't get cleared out if there is not a log entry for it. It's a bug when changing Guild Leaders or something like that.

I posted a tickect and it was escalated right away. the Specilist that helped me out was great. the trick was something like you have to have everyone out of the guild for 10-15 seconds or something while the GM reapplys who's Guild Leader or something like that. i think you have to promote someone off line to GL and then log off or somehting.. not sure.. but the GM that helped me was Very Great about fixing things.

i have transfered leadership recently. So that probably is the problem.
Hopefully when i log in later it will be fixed or nearly fixed :)

I did the same thing last week (wed or thurs). Right after I transferred leadership to one of my other mules, the bank contents were gone and the logs didn't show anything was removed. The content showed up again on Tuesday night. I think it gets bugged for a few days after the guild master title is transferred or something.

I'd shit if this happened... my god the value of the guild bank contents... dozens of hearts of darkness, patterns, etc etc...

Retired raiding guild... not to mention the 10K+ gold in there...

This tool in our guild took everything from the bank then xfered servers.. Blizz said sorry you gave him access. It was stupid.

Get the old leader to check their mail.

When a guild is disbanded, the contents get sent to the gl. It could be a bug that due to the swap, the old gl now has the items in the mail.

If a guild bank if cleaned out, and the person who did it transfers servers right after, it'll show up as "unknown" I think...? Maybe it just blanks it out.

You are correct it shows up as unknown this happend with my alt guild storage, me and 2 freinds in it one got hacked and cleaned out my 8k gold and massive amount of mats.... they restored it after bout a week
