I have ordered the Vetra keyboard multiplier and KVM. These have you plugging in PS2 devices. My notebook has USB ports and I don't have any connectors for a PS2 input device. I have found adapters that let you plug in a PS2 mouse/keyboard and then adapt that to be plugged into a USB port. But I am looking for something different here. I am needing to cables to plug into the PS2 ports on the Vetra Keyboard multiplier and KVM. Where do I get these? Everything I saw at Newegg allowed you to plug a PS2 device into an adapter but I am looking for what I can use to connect my notebook to the PS2 ports on the multiplier and KVM.

I have exactly the same config with one of my laptops. You need to make sure you get one that actually converts the signal properly to USB. Startech.com makes a good one that I use. Model is called (who would have thought it?) a USBPS2PC. You can buy them from lots of sources. Just Google for it. Cost about $15 bucks if I recall (has been awhile).

Worked fine for me.

Good luck

i got mine from MICROTEC or something like that. Similar to BESTBUY but more techie oriented. Fry's Electronics may have what u need as well. The picture with the 2 ends is NOT what ur looking for. Your connection has PS/2 one end with USB on the other end. Your cable should have PS/2 on both ends.
