To meelee or not to meelee

Hey,


as 4x elemshams, is it worth using meelee attacks in arena? I haven't been using it much since I removed my weapon buff keybind. Should I start meeleeing again? The only time I do it is when I'm desperate and entirely OOM. Maybe I'm missing out on good dmg by not using meelee?

I've never done areana with my shamans but I use melee all the time. Very mana efficient. :)

I have /startattack on every single keybind I have :P that way they may get some hit's in from time to time, just make sure you spam the follow macro if you need them behind you (it breaks on melee attack)

This is why I don't use meelee much.

I experimented with melee shortly. Here is the macro I used:

/cast [target=focustarget] MELEE ATK
/follow focus

It gets old spamming targets but it worked for me. I imagine leveling to 70 would kill a keyboard, but hey Im already on number two with a casting class so not much of a difference.

And back to the original poster, Elemental Shaman using melee? Thats like a hunter swinging his two hander, you can but its not the best idea >.<
